A very informative video. Thank you. We lived in Kakamega for a time in 1986- 87 (My husband worked at Western University College ) We often saw this stone on our day trips to Kisumu and wondered about it. We used to say that someone was having a joke on passers by, that there was a hose pipe placed up there, providing the water. We did not try to get closer to the stone; we didn't think we'd be permitted. As a result we never heard the legend about it or the area.
Bwana Maseche (according to the nice mushielhe) 🤣🤣 at minute 18:46 I think I see the King seated at the right side in the video, at the base of the rock, leaning against it, looking sad and missing his wife🤣🤣🤣😂😂. Very funny. BTW my brother lives just feet from there, I think the area is called Imuraaka if I am not wrong. Love it. That is home.
