You can say what you want: Richard Coyle IS Moist of Lipwick!!! His smile, his eyes, his face, all of him says: Maybe I'm a conman,but.... trust me ! So Richard: Dont let me detain you and go for: "Making Money", please !!!
I thought this adaptation was absolutely spot-on - the chemistry between Foy and Coyle was amazing. The only gripe was that the character of Ridcully wasn't really played with enough warmth and humour; I thought Joss Ackland's portrayal in The Hogfather was a lot more jolly and fun, Timothy West was much too dour and severe.
I agree! I've been saying Richard Coyle would be awesome ever since I heard Matt Smith will be leaving. He's also worked with Steven Moffat before, so there would be some familiarity there as well.
"But as soon as he stepped out of the carriage we knew it was going to be fine" - no, for me, it was the moment Charles Dance opened his mouth and Vetinari's voice came out. For me, I can't see Vetinari with black hair anymore. He's got Dance's reddish-blonde.
I just remembered, in the show "coupling", didn't he as Jeff had a scene where he would describe himself having written "moist" over and over on a sheet of papre and rubbing it all over his face as a teenager?
Richard Coyle is a great actor, and I look forward to watching his work for a long time to come. He is truly gifted and will someday, not far off, become a major player in the industry. cleopat8850
@karmagirl314: *lol* Yeah, because Vetinari is all about hair colour, not about being a brilliant character with certain mannerisms, great charisma, quite manace and biting sarcasm.
"A man is not dead while his name is still spoken."
GNU Terry Pratchett
Please, BBC, for the love of God, MAKE THIS MAN THE NEXT DOCTOR.
Oh Fuck yes, he'd be an amazing doctor. This is not a commentary on the current doctor, I haven't had an opportunity to see her yet.
Astropsychologist oooooh yes

@@katough OH BLIND IO YES PLEASE!

Sure am glad Claire Foy's career shot up recently. Hope the same thing happens to Coyle's. Man's work is quality through and through.

Sadly, while he's an important character in the novels, it's only a bit-part for this movie. They were probably not too worried to cast it well.
I fell in love with Richard Coyle in this film! 3 I hadnt really seen him before but I cannot stop watching it!
Brilliant, utterly brilliant
Yes it is wonderful and uplifting stuff . I was once told a good film you could watch again and again and I certainly can with Going Postal .
I definitely felt happy after watching it, such a great movie. Love Richard Coyle.
Perfectly casted show. Loved it no matter the differences from the book
I really wish Anghammarad had made a showing, "Do not ask us about saber-toothed tigers, tar pits, big green things with teeth, or the goddess czol."
love his ascent and love his character in Covert Affair.
Tracy M Actually after I saw him in Covert Affairs, I decided to watch everything else he did.. Superb..!
"there's a real poignancy about mr pump that i never saw just reading it, it's quite sad"
This was an inspired piece of casting.
honestly, the cast was great and everyone did a fantastic job. i really like that movie.

Charles Dance looks like the second Anthony Hopkins,in my mind.
He have the same sweet nightmare charm.
@@КсенияЮдина-ф3ч A little. He's got that... look in his eyes, he knows a secret about how the universe works that you don't.

The best Pratchett screen adaption, imo

This guy would make a great Doctor! Not that I want Matt to go, but still, a good choice nonetheless.
Mr. Coyle could've wrapped up the last series of Coupling as Jeff. Whether he was typecast or not, he still managed to move on with his career.
Thanks a lot!
i love this guy :D :D
Love Richard Coyle and still upset his character was killed off on covert affairs want more of him on my tv in usa!!
Actually in the books she never once fired her crossbow at him but oh well xD
i hope they will bring this to germany
if not would have to go postal by myself ^^

Coyle for the 12th Doctor! He'd be fantastic!
Please, could anyone tell what Coyle said at 3:25-3:40, about Lipwig and Mr. Pump relationship?
You're welcome :)
It's so weird hearing anyone refer to Charles Dance as "Charlie". It just feel like something that ought to be punishable by scorpion pit.
What happend to the nuditybuffer?
HIS NAME IS MOIST??? NO REALLY THAT'S HIS NAME???
oh jeffery lol
... ear bucket...
No no no, Lord Vetinari does NOT work as anything other than black-haired.
