Visited San Siro many times in the late 80s and early 90s. It was special, a fortress of colour, passion, fire, explosion and smoke . Beautiful and scary at the same time. Thanks for the wonderful memories, San Siro will always beat in my heart.
I'm an arsenal fan but I genuinely think this is the greatest footballing venue on earth! Hope inter and Milan can be what they once were.

@@jw6871 the directors were thinking of remodelling it, but now a project has been planned to make a new stadium, on the one hand it is sad because I am a fan of Milan and I used to go to the San Siro since I was a child, but on the other hand I am happy and curious about how it will be (if the work is carried out, I would start next year as it had to be delayed due to the pandemic), San Siro in the last century was a WONDERFUL, and I would not imagine how a new stadium would be today in the middle of the 21st century
@@user-qm6ig1iw8t not sure. Recently the mayor of the place said the cost of the work for a new stadium is too high to be done. The cost was around 1,2 billion euros and the local government said "no"

The very original design of the space frames make san siro arguably one of the most beautiful and iconic stadiums in Europe. It is truly unique. I just wish Milan and Inter did a little more to invest more in the seating as well as the general well being and comfort of fans inside. It isn't a modern stadium, but it has an atmosphere like no other.

they will be demolishing it soon. going to rebuild it completely for a new modernised stadium. with LESS CAPACITY can you believe that? they're downsizing. its a travesty its one of the worlds greatest and famous football cathedrals. both clubs haven't looked after it so i'm not surprised.

This is a great stadium I remember one direction did a concert here and that was the best concert ever no one comes close with the Italian fans and the stadium atmosphere it was eccentric with the flags and in football the chants one of the most iconic stadiums for sure.
In.europa hanno costruito già da qualche anno.stadi.di proprietà da 40.000 posti. Ora li stanno ampliando a 60000/ 80000 . Mentre milan.ed inter vogliono.portare il meazza da 80.000 a 60.000 posti. Perche in Italia si fa tutto il contrario di tutto ?

I‘m a Bayern Munich fan. The first of 13 times I‘ve been to San Siro was for the Champions League Final in 2001.
I‘ve been to a lot of great stadiums.
Bernabeu, Bombonera, Antonio Vespuccio Liberti, Presidente Peron, Wembley, Old Trafford, Calderon….
But my favourite stadium is San Siro. What a monument, what a great stadium.
And I hope that after Bayern, Inter will qualify for the knockout stage in the Champions League.

Per me non è lo stadio più bello del mondo come molti dicono ma avrebbe le potenzialità per diventarlo con le seguenti modifiche: completamento del terzo anello e capienza di 100.000 posti e oltre; nuova copertura completamente riprogettata (via quella specie di piccionaia); allungamento tribune dietro le porte come era negli anni 80; seggiolini tutti di un colore (consiglierei tutti azzurri senza nessun riferimento esplicito). Ovviamente è solo un parere personale e penso resterà tale...
Demolire San Siro per fare un capannone da 60.000 posti è una vergogna da palazzinari
è ridicolo che il milan lasci questo stadio,san siro è una delle prime 5 cattedrali del calcio mondiale e deve continuare a vivere

Excellent Shots. The bowl at the side of San Siro has been there since the very beginning also. Was it a Velodrome at sometime? Can anyone clarify.
The Horse racing structures, one at the north side of the stadium (galoppo), the other one in the east side (trotto)... In reality the "trotto" is out of order since about 2012, so in this video they surely 'correct' the look of the trotto as once he is, cause since 10 years the place is in a very bad condition... solo in Italia si poteva progettare uno stadio ed un ippodromo attaccati da impedire lavori di ristrutturazione per entrambe le strutture
Pienamente daccordo. Tutte le volte che guardo le due strutture appiccicate mi ci sento male. Pensa che meraviglia sarebbe uno stadio già bello di suo come San Siro con il terzo anello completato e oltre 100.000 spettatori di capienza (magari anche con una copertura un pò più bella della attuale, ad esempio come quella del Bernabeu)

What a cave, the stadium is obsolete and needs an upgrading urgently, at least a paint for the seats. Exploited for years by 2 rich clubs in league and european cups, that couldn't afford an own stadium until now that ACM is getting one. But no deny the atmosphere is great.
