Wow Linda, you are certainly blessed to live in such a beautiful environment, and a kind husband who helps mowing the endless lawn 😮 I don’t know which season I prefer more , as every season is serene and beautiful.
Thank you very much for your reply. My husband, who loves the garden just like I do, jokes that the lawnmower is his convertible sports car. He enjoys taking it for a spin on the lawn for over two hours each week, though the noise is quite loud, so he has to wear ear protection.hope you have a great weekend!

Oh Linda, everything is so lush and gorgeous! I love your pink-tinged PG hydrangeas - especially the one near the sedum by the house. Are they Strawberry Sundae or Pinky Winky by chance? They look so beautiful with the roses and sedum 😍 The different hibiscus are charming too, I keep thinking of adding some to my garden. Hi Lynn, I had some post-surgery follow-up exams over the past two days and wasn't online. Thank you for your concern. The results from these exams were very good. I'm glad to see your reply. Near the house are the vanilla strawberry hydrangeas, near the garage are the Pinky Winky, and next to the maple tree is the Raspberry Sundae. I’ll include the names of the flowers next time. I hope you a great day！

Hi Linda , breathing as always , your environment is serene and peaceful. Have you thought of building a greenhouse in your landscape? You deserve a greenhouse for sure .
Thank you very much! Dear GardenGirl, I really like the idea of having a greenhouse, but it's too cold here in winter, and the Chicago area is known for its strong winds. Building one would be quite challenging and expensive, so I decided give it up.
I relate to your concerns about having a green house understandably because we live in southern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 we never know what kind of winter awaits us . Stay well
