#3 Helped me crack the code. Thank you so much, holy smokes. The homework program would give me the correct answer without walking through the whole thing and it seemed like it was pulling numbers out of nowhere.
My answer: x^2 + 9x + 60
real answer: x^2 + 17x + 60
All because I didn't understand how the exponent works with distributive property apparently. You're a lifesaver.

-5 × f(4)-1=1-3/4(4)
Or
1/3 × f(-8)=(-8)2-5(-8)+7

addition and subtraction count as same step,so you can subtract or add....it is the same thing for multiplication and division.🤗for instance.1+8*3-12/4 =1+24-12/4 but it could also be 1+8*3-3 they both come to 22.hope that helps have a nice day

Determine 4f(-2) means you take 4 times f(-2). Determine f(-2) first, then multiply that value by 4.

2 squared is 4
4 times 2 is 8
