Hey mate. Great to see a true test over a long period of time. I have recently used the Gyeon Q2 wax and so far very impressed with the overall gloss, beading and ingredients quality . I have been a painter and in the restoration game for 20 years and so far this is a quality wax on the more affordable end of scale i say competitive to much more expensive waxes around the world. Great work mate. Keep it up.
@@Disciple11 yes it is a flourine combination wax with carnauba being one of main ingredients like most waxes there will be added ingredients for better durability.
@@adriancaruana7303 carnauba wax on its own is extremely poor for durability the main ingredient in there is the flourine which is now being banned world wide for environmental damage i cant see in gyeon marketing that it actually has carnauba??
Thanks mate I appreciate that and yes as Disciple said it is fluorine which I only looked into once I started this test and is a pretty nasty thing which is a shame as it clearly performs great
I recently applied it to my car at around the 1 year mark which is coated with carpro cquartz UK 3.0 It didn't need it but thought why not make thr paint a bit slicker
After all the hype with turtle wax, we are now getting true long term reviews. And it’s not looking good. Love how old school wax like collinite can go head to head with some newer waxes out there.
Yes agreed it seems every ither video out there gets these amazing results from turtle wax but I never have apart from seal and shine. And yes collinite is doing really well and is a great choice at a lower price point
Sorry for the delay but we're definitely starting to get somewhere now, looking forward to the 3 month update now

Great test. Gyeon has lost a bit of hydrophobics, but still doing pretty well.
Thanks mate, yeah it's definitely starting to change now a little
Great video mate the middle 3 seem to be doing quite well at 10 weeks
Thanks mate I definitely agree
Good review, really shows the waxes capabilities
