Thanks both for this, I have never thought about the wide leg to hip ratio but may explain why I have always struggled to carry them off. I think a top wide leg review may be required :D

I love all of these. I, too, have an outfit -- it's a dress. There is nothing inherently wrong with it, but it messes with my head, so I never wear it. I think I might reduce it to just a skirt, and see if it gets more wear.

I love the trousers. The Flints are my favourite trouser and I keep coming back to them. Did you show your hack for the elastic back or the stretchy waistband? I need to do that as getting the waistband exactly right is 👿. Gorgeous trousers.
