    Timely video. Just got a suggested video from Miura on IG for these irons and they are tempting. The $3200 price tag for 4-PW with the Axiom shafts is kind of high though.

    Great review. Would have liked to see a view of the sole and camber while looking lengthwise down the sole. Not sure why reviewers hardly ever show that, as it's the second thing I look at after topline.

    I really wish the Axiom shafts were more attainable. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Might have to buy one a year until my bag is finished lol

    Interesting video. Do you know something about about an update of the MB101, which look fantastic. Maybe a little more forgiveness and lenght. I have played Honma TW717M, chnaged to mizuno 225, but would like to go back to blades. MB101 look very appealing but probably hard to play.
    What about the axiom shaft compared to nippon modus3 tour120 and dynamicgold? Can you also make a shaft comparison or suggestion for miura irons?

    So it's a 2021 P790 (looks more like the Taylormade than the Kirklands) with a Miura badge on it and double the price. I would pay the price listed for on their website if they added the Miura stamping check on them and were fully forged. Considering they are simply a forged face club with polymer, you can get that same look, feel, and sound from brands like Srixon and Mizuno for a fraction of the cost. They need to really reconsider that price point.

      These irons are built through quality standards US brands don’t definitely have! ( except the CNCPT Titleist).

      @pjpcadet I would agree that Miura is known for superior craftsmanship when it comes to their fully forged irons. When you're talking about this club here, I think they are using the "Miura feel" and "Miura craftsmanship" for a club that is essentially like any other hollow body iron with a forged face and polymer. I'm not knocking the brand at all because I have played the Miura CB 302 irons and still own them. They are great! I just think they are being a little too proud for what this club really should be for their brand and that's a club to get the Miura brand in more peoples bags and a traditional price point (more in line at $1600 to $1700 out the door) would do that. It will be interesting to see where Bettinardi prices their iron launch. Those look amazing and maybe I'm wrong if they come in around that same price.

      Precisely. I have the 700, 302, and 602. Got the 602 just so I can use it together with the wife when travelling overseas and want to lighten up. Annoying that it's more expensive than the 302 nonforged not made in Japan.

    How did you get a standard deviation of 3 on carry when your second shot was 188 yards, and your third shot went 202 yards? I’m a Miura fan and will definitely give these a try , but you are obviously deleting some shots out of the data to make the numbers look better.

    Is the whole head forged or only forged face?

    These irons are very sexy….I’m currently gaming KM-700s….how would you rate distance compared to the KM-700s? I’m a little older now, had both hips replaced, so wouldn’t mind a little more distance, but I don’t need an extra 10-15 yards…5-7 would be great…My 6 iron swing speed is around low to mid 80s, ball speed with the KM700s is about 115, and carry 160-165…so, for me, I tend to get bunched up after the 6 iron, i.e., not much difference between 5/6 iron…

      The 602 is a great option. She would have to get professionally fitted to figure out the correct shaft.

    these sound like almost exactly what im looking for. Forgiveness without the crazy hot flyers a lot of the hollow body irons will produce. But at $350+ per iron. Yikes

    Made in China and not forged but more expensive than the 302. Performance is undeniable and I have both of them but annoying having to shell out more for the 602.

    5 iron back spin with a 7 iron .....LOL thats just what every day golfer needs no spin to stop the ball , and dont tell me they drop from a high decent angle, thats a myth too, play those in a Kansas 25+ breeze and the ball will go everywhere but where you want it to go!!!
    Give me spin all day long as I will club up or down accordingly as spin helps keep my ball on line !

    Great review but do you think these would be a good fit with someone with a much lower swing speed? Say … 75-80 mph? Thx.

    • @pjpcadet
      @pjpcadet 3 місяці тому

      Swing speed doesn’t matter. It depends on your skills which drive you to choose the head made for you. No doubt they can fit a slow swinger from scratch to… 18 hcp.

    • @lawbinson
      @lawbinson 3 місяці тому

      @@pjpcadet what... Speed definitely matters in fitting.

    • @pjpcadet
      @pjpcadet 3 місяці тому

      @lawbinson, speed really obviously matters for fitting !! I just meant that a low speed swinger but good striker can play every kind of head… even a small forged blade as long as he doesn’t seek for distance. If he does, a hollow body can match. And, I agree, the fitting is the key.

    • @SnoopyGolf
      @SnoopyGolf 2 місяці тому

      @@pjpcadetthats not true at all. A slow swing speed that finds center will have a good smash but if you don’t have ball speed the ball won’t stay in the air hurting your spin, distance, height and descent. Your speed definitely has a huge part on the head you play. Where the mass is distributed in the club is important, as well as face thickness etc. A 75 mph plus handicap should never play blades or cb irons unless they want to hurt their game

    • @pjpcadet
      @pjpcadet 2 місяці тому

      @HarolmAsian, is it so difficult to read properly what I wrote? I never said speed doesn’t matter I « JUST » said that these heads can match with a slow speed swing « IF » they are well fitted… That being said, a good gamer with slow swing speed can easily play a blade as long as he has a good consistency. There are so many clichés about the clubs and shafts!!…. Like slow swing = smooth shaft or high handicap = game improver… There are so many other factors like loading the shaft, tempo, shape of the swing and so on. Speed or level of game are just a small part of fitting .
