    I've had God respond "aggressively" to me once so far in my life. I had spent all day trying to feel God's presence and was becoming distraught about it not happening. A thought came to my mind that God was withholding a sense of His presence because of something I did or didn't do. So I asked Him exactly that. Immediately I heard Him in my heart say "Never! Never ever! Never ever ever! I would never do that to you! Never ever!" He was clearly very offended by that lie I had started to buy into.

    I'm an old man now about ten years ago I got on fire for God... I had not cried since since I was about12years old ...I cry every day now... Once you get close to God and realize how Holy God is and what wretched sinners we are , we drink iniquity like water , we are born with a wicked heart and we are drawn to sin like moths to the flame... You start to cry.... Good , bad or indifferent.... God keeps all of our tears in a bottle for some reason... I think he is going to need a bigger bottle.... God is sooooo good he is Ggrrrraaaattt , Faithful in All his ways , Holy Just and True... Thank you Jesus.... Christians are not sinnless but we should sin lees and lees

    Wonderful testimony! The only time God has been aggressive with me, He told me: “ Delete all your social media NOW!” and I did- with the quickness! He has showed me that it is a big open door for the enemy and my attention needs to be on Him only. I don’t look at it as Him being aggressive. I look at it as He knows what is best for me and He loves me that much to take that out of my life. He has slowly taken a lot of things out of my life. I don’t watch any tv/ movies, no secular music, no more social media. Only thing I do online is research Bible stuff and watch stuff like this channel on UA-cam. I read my Bible every day, I start my day with it and end my day with it. He tells me what He wants me to read. He always gives me Psalms to read. I find this very personal between us. He knows that I love poetry and literature so He gives me different Psalms to read all the time. He tells me the number and I know. I also keep notebooks full of the verses that He gives me. I write down dreams that I have. I write about what He teaches me in His word. I write down any communication I have with Him and write in a prayer journal.and I keep track of every single thing He tells me to read.

    I return again and again to this testimony in my memory. For me, I think it is the best one of everything I’ve seen to this time. Watching a person come into the house of God, which is the Bible, and weep every time he reads it, is I think the most precious thing even to God, not just to me. Especially if take into account that this person is a disciplined and hardened and very cold-minded man. His personality resembles that of prophets and David and even of Jesus himself.
    This is a true healing and true worshiping and true life and love in Jesus Christ.
    Remember how Paul recalled not anything else but the tears of Timothy!
    And also during our ordinary daily activities this kind of connection with God can be practiced, - not only while reading the Bible.

    The giggling is a physical release of the joy in the relationship with CHRIST knowing it is HIM causing the joy. I giggle all the time.
    I haven't a testimony of a day when JESUS came into my life because since I can remember HE has been in my life. I have list of events that have sequences that could only point to GOD orchestrating everything.
    Example: I was building my home we live in and during the construction I allowed my friend an older man who had become homeless to live in the house. The first night was rough for him sleeping on the hard plywood floor. That morning me and a high-school friend who was working with me left to buy supplies. Behind the building was a trash dumpster and miraculously there was a brand new mattress with the plastic still on. Well, me and Curt looked at each other and without saying a word we jumped out and retrieved the mattress for Gene.

Couple weeks later, God said go down to the convenience store and do a handstand next to the pop machine.... She laughed and said I am not going to do that that is stupid.... She instantly was reminded... I Will do anything... She went in nobody in there except the clerk... She did the handstand _clerk was watching intently ,..she started to leave and he asked... Why did you just do that... Because God told me to... He said come here... He pulled a pistol out and laid it on the counter... He said my shift is almost over and I was going to shoot myself and I said God if you are real send a lady in here to do a handstand next to the pop machine.... Thank you Jesus... Now I am crying again

    He does know exactly what is good for us! ( He told me stay far away from T*c T*k as soon as it came out,He just told me it was a BIG time waster for me not to have anything to do with it)
    Whenever I say or mention this around certain folks- I can feel the bristle coming off of them,so I have to add in this fact,that I am not saying that God wants YOU off of T*cT*k ,I just know what He has said to ME ,for me to do!!
    Because so many people just don't understand or even believe that the Holy Spirit can lead a person into what or what not to do and plus their love for the things of this world are too strong that they think nothings wrong with it and God wouldn't care .

    The reason WHY we will not pray in front of others is straight up pride. When you finally get to a certain point in life where you get so tired of living life YOUR WAY and say ok God..i surrender...take the wheel. And once you feel the presense and love of Jesus..nothing in the world matters anymore. You are so hooked on Him that you want to share your joy of KNOWING JESUS TO EVERYONE and you no longer have any discomfort praying ALOUD in front of ANYONE. 😊💗🙏

    • @JoshWallace
      @JoshWallace 6 днів тому

      This! People keep saying prayer is supposed to be silent and private. I pray all the time, sometimes aloud and sometimes silent. Not praying aloud in front of someone is usually, they don't want to sound dumb or wrong or "mess up". That's at least why I was uncomfortable with it. It's not about how you sound. It's the heart, God sees our heart. If you're praying from your heart, it's never a bad thing. It loud or silent.

    I don’t agree with telling people they aren’t saved because they don’t have a relationship with Jesus. I believe that’s for Jesus to decide. The thief on the cross didn’t know Jesus or have a relationship with him, and yet Jesus still saved him.

    • @aw6707
      @aw6707 15 днів тому +4

      John the Baptists and Jesus' message were "repent and believe" we can tell people they are going to hell if they don't know Jesus. We can't tell them we know for sure if they are saved (we do not see their heart). God calls us to loving boldness which is actual love, not concealed half-truths (avoiding realities of sin and Hell) which is actually hateful.

    • @EllenSails
      @EllenSails 15 днів тому +4

      I don’t think the “lukewarm” scripture is saying ppl aren’t saved if they don’t have a prior relationship with Jesus, rather, I think the point is that just because you believe in Jesus and can perform his signs and wonders, doesn’t mean you’re walking in the love of Christ and discipling that love so that his kingdom comes here on earth as it is in heaven.

    1:19 Stacy let me try and give you an explanation about why men won’t pray out loud over their wives and children. My husband is one of these men and it comes from childhood abuse. He is afraid of failure and criticism. He has a spirit that is literally choking his vocal cords and stopping his outward praise of Jesus. I walked my floors a few days ago casting out spirits, breaking chains and strongholds for my husband. I want him to be healed because the devil is stealing his heart and future.

    The healing was set in heaven once prayer was made, but the individual prayed over needs to pick up his cross and bring the manifestation into the physical. God gave the healing but the parable of the sower gives us knowledge of what happens with the miracle. Total healing can take time due to faith, sin, and repentance. We have to fight for the healing. My people are destroyed due to lack of knowledge. Maybe they were sick for the purpose of him giving a testimony for their personal growth in their future. Awesome testimony. I had to fight to keep my healing.

    There is one true sign of being in relationship with and knowing Jesus Christ. That sign is a changed heart and life. This is exactly what this cop is describing, what the thief experienced though his life was short afterward and what I experienced. There are 2 words in Greek that are translated “know” in the New Testament, one meaning to know as in reading a book or head knowledge of facts the other is to know by experience. The second one is used in ghetto quote of Jesus saying, “I never knew you.”

    We all should emphasise the necessity of reading and knowing the Four Gospels for the world people, and not the whole Bible. And only after they succeed in this task can we advise them on proceeding to the whole Bible. Otherwise we end up with people who even after encountering Jesus are scared of the Bible for 20 years! So a book of gospels plus the psalms should always be present in every house as second book, additional to the Bible.
    Moreover I’d suggest an ultra modernised translation of the text, as it makes the text twice as interesting (a good example is Nya Levande Bibeln in Swedish).

    I’d say that Chip didn’t hear anything from God until he entered the house of God, which is the Bible. As soon as he entered it or better say the senses and descriptions of God and his ways entered Chip’s mind, Jesus started using these as an alphabet to communicate with Chip: He started highlighting one “sense and description” after another and also revealing him new senses via the “alphabet of Bible senses”, which is rightfully perceived as God’s voice. He brought these senses to the focus of his mind, and it grew to come also to the focus of his heart and “resonated” inside it (dwelled inside it), that’s why he began weeping (this fact can be considered central in all his story being a proof of true resurrection), until God’s word “leavened the whole” of him. When there’s nothing to highlight, God is restricted in His opinions and may use much more “expensive” resources to influence a person, which means extremely rare ones (once per years through sufferings or other people’s instructions etc).
    “The Bible perfectly represents God’s house”, says Brandon in video below. He points out a weird coincidence between years and numbers and structure in building of Lords House in OT and in building of King James Bible.
    Deu 16:11: "And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, … in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there."

    Concerning the fact of resurrection that happened with an unknown man, and why it seems correctly interpreted by Chip. Imagine God and his angels and archangels to be equally intelligent with you, with the only difference in their much bigger amount of control over the universe. Under such conditions it looks easy to believe that God and his team immediately analysed the situation and responded to that stranger’s prayer by returning life into the man’s body specifically for this to appear in electronic media like your channel. (Mostly for this single purpose.) If someone would say “but this behaviour of God was not observed earlier”, we could reply “but God is not less intelligent than us, and so he acts not less adequately to the changes in world’s sophistication”.
    Moreover, he could do this “expensive” intervention for a single purpose of strengthening relationships with Chip! For example, the logic can be this: “He is such a special and dear son of mine that I will personally make an effort once in his life and send him this ‘message’”.

    I don't feel it's a very fair position to question why people would be uncomfortable praying in public. I believe that God communicates with us. But I think it is something like a small, still voice that one normally hears internally. Only very rarely is it like normal verbal communication that occurs from person to person. If it was and if more people experienced God's voice, then more people would find it normal and acceptable to pray aloud. Seems perfectly understandable to me why it would feel uncomfortable praying aloud.

      I think it's about the relationship. If you are comfortable talking with your dad and some aren't, you should be able to speak proudly in public to your father because you're used to doing it daily. People that don't have that relationship, are hesitant to pray aloud in front of people.
      It all boils down to familiarity. If you talk with someone everyday because of your relationship it's "no big deal". If you kinda know someone and have to speak publicly, it's awkward. I hope that helps.

      Praying over a friend or person should be done in silent prayer in public. Personal verbal prayer is done in your closet like JESUS taught us to pray.

      @@JoshWallace you're wrong, JESUS said pray in your closet. Every time JESUS prayed personally, HE went away to pray privately. You sound like the Pharisee show off, displaying his tassels and praying out loud to make others to believe you're holier than thou.

    You asked a question why some people are not comfortable praying in public could this be one of the reasons When you pray don't be like the hypocrites were they love to pray in front of the public standing on the street corners and in the synagogues Snoopy's scene by men so when you pray go into your closet and pray to your father who is unseen
