- The feels like temperature was -6 degrees when the Miami Dolphins arrived in Kansas City Friday evening, nearly 100 degrees colder than when they took off earlier in the day.

You could get the flu if you stood about on the pitch. But if an athelete runs, and sprints and has his engines warmed up. He could work up a sweat and enjoy the wonderfull cold with it's healthy cooling effect. Not so sure about how breathing in all that freezing is going to be coped with. We used to Steeple Chase in the snowey winters in shorts and a sports short sleeved T.Shirt. Cold out side but warm inside with all pistons pumping.

The old cliche that the weather affects both teams is moot if it potentially involves dangerous frostbite. The NFL is creating a debacle with this game, now for more than one reason. Anyone that's been in this stadium when it's this cold knows it's just dumb, the NFL should be better in 2024. Tomorrow is bad in KC too but just have it Mon, it can be done. People want to see Mahomes sling it around and watch Tyreek do his thing, not to watch a 6-3 game based strictly on winning the turnover battle. We deserve a better product that what we'll see tonight.

Fans that travel the country are die hard enough. But going to this one? That's just pure devotion. I have my weekend and game day rituals (superstitions) I do every week to "help" the Dolphins. I have to wonder if these traveling fans are trapped within their rituals too. More power to 'em.

The game should have been rescheduled to a domed stadium. This weather is too dangerous for sports. And fans coaches the league offices knew this was brutal weather. Temps thats extremely dangerous. Hopefully no athlete or coach or fam will suffer major health problems or issues. Shameful NFL decisions. Hopefully no one gets weather related permanent injuries or illness. Hopefully.
It’s going to be worse in Buffalo tomorrow if you can believe that lol. Warm weather or dome teams already have an enormous advantage against outdoor/cold weather teams, the NFL can’t just keep rearranging venues because winter exists. The NFL didn’t give a f when Buffalo played in Miami at 1:00 in September last year when it was 140 degrees on the Bills sideline and players were dropping like flies due to heat exhaustion.
How about no? The Bills, Seahawks, Giants, Jets, Steelers, Colts, Vikings, Packers, and Browns all risk playing in frigid temperatures 8 or 9 games a season in their own stadiums. Teams train and prepare for each game in accordance with the forecast. Don't make excuses because you worry the Dolphins might be at a disadvantage.
Teams have proper attire to keep from freezing to death. Any team that would forfeit a game because "it's way too frigid outside," or whine that the game should be moved to a dome, should sit out the entire season.

The fact the KC even has a home game is incredible. Any Chiefs fan that has watched this team through 17 games and tells you they should have been the #1 seed is delusional and is living on Mars. Baltimore and Buffalo are clearly better teams and that’s not an opinion, it’s absolutely factual.

All they need is for their offense to show up, and they would potentially have the advantage over the Bills again. The Ravens on the other hand, have not yet faced the Chiefs defense this season. So don't expect an obvious win for the Ravens, if they face the Chiefs in the AFC Championship.
