I’m a big fan of heat + pulse for my knee with a worn out (degenerative) medial and patellar capsules. I used the Heat Pulse generation 1 for a year, liking it so much I eagerly bought the HP 2, which was supposed to be warmer and longer battery life. Unfortunately the 2 didn’t work well out of the box, the control/battery attaching poorly to pad. They replaced it and the new one worked better and I got used to having to adjust my leg position and reattaching the control unit (common enough that there are FAQ instructions on their website about a common error). But after 10 months of daily use for recovery, the HP 2 function has incrementally degraded. The positioning has to be just right, it barely heats. I’d guess it’s a quality issue with the wiring to the pad units battery terminals. It’s probably related to how hot the battery connection gets at top settings. There are times when I’ve touched the terminals and thought wow that could burn someone if they weren’t careful. I’m leaving this extensive comment here because it’s the most watched review of the unit. Hope it’ll be helpful to others. At the end of the day, it’s a great therapy tool but with a relatively short lifespan (10 months daily use).
So helpful, Will. I’ve been using a heating pad, which, while effective, has been a bit awkward to secure. I’ll definitely check this product out further. Thanks for posting this review!
Thanks very much for this video. I have wondered if some kind of massage might help my knee osteoarthritis. I did wonder about the heat though. I have inflammation around my knees and thought a cold pack would be better than heat. I'm going to check out the Heatpulse, I think it might help.
I have osteoarthritis in the knees, but also a problem in the shoulder, recently picked up ligament sprains in the knee, would this help both problem areas
Hi I’m new here…55 y/o, without any diagnosed knee injury - just some difficulty walking downstairs sometimes ..making me walk down the stairs like a pirate 😅… would this help loosen whatever is sticking ? Also, could you show how to wrap the shoulder ?

Happy to help!
What about setting heat with Celsius grades?
Hello. Does it make a noise? What does it sound like?
is this product effective for the upper arm, just below the shoulder ?
How much does it cost
can you use it while the knee is bent? does it work like a knee brace if you go for a walk?

I am very impressed. Thanks
Thank you!
