It took me a while to get to this one, but real nice compilation. I can't believe there was nobody else in Richland when that SP-patched 290 showed up, I heard the foam was hopping big time when that thing decided to lead a train. Really digging the wide farmland shots as always.
It really depends on where in Harrisburg you are staying. East of Harrisburg the best spot to watch trains is not until you get to Hershey or Hummelstown (and any town east of there) where you can expect to see 2-3 trains an hour, or about 40 trains per day. South of Harrisburg on the other side of the river is the Port Road Branch that sees little daylight trains and is not recommended for short visits. West/north of Harrisburg is the Rockville Bridge and that area captures trains converging off of the Port Road Branch, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Harrisburg Lines, seeing anywhere from 60-80 movements daily. The Pittsburgh Line that runs west of Marysville sees 50 trains per day alone. The Lurgan Branch, which is across the River, runs west (southwest) from Lemoyne and sees around 20 trains per day, most of which are daylight moves (about 1-2 per hour).
I always enjoy the Harrisburg line videos. Something unique about that area.
