I’m so sorry for the difficulty you’re facing… I pray Peace Himself would be with you all on your journey of coming into relationship with Christ Jesus our Lord. The Divine Mercy chaplet and Holy Rosary can help you spiritually, everyday I pray at least one because I, too, run into struggles like this. But always try to remember to trust in the mercy and powerful redemptive love of God… He has truly overcome every source of evil in this world and I believe the enemy targets people most who don’t know how to stand firm on that foundation of truth He established with His ascension. Stay safe and healthy friend ❤

Happy Feast of Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ💐
The birth of Jesus, his miracles, his resurrection and Ascension into heaven remain eternal truths.
What makes a person a superhero is that they have this power and put it at the service for someone else.
Even the smallest act of service is the simple act of kindness.
The resurrection of Jesus gives us meaning and an opportunity to start over again no matter what the circumstance in life is..
The great gift of Easter is hope: Hope which makes us have trust and confidence in God🌻
My husband and I regularly watch this Mass after his cancer diagnosis on Aug. 5th (two days after we laid my mother to rest)… we lost Jeff on April!8th… today is a hard day

Those were lovely examples in your homily Father Mike.
A powerful reminder that :
* Gifts don't change hearts. Dave Ramsey- If you are a generous poor person, you'll be a generous rich person
* Jesus gives gifts to His Apostles (for the service of God and to spread gospel as well as help everyone get salvation), and the primary source was the Holy Spirit through God's grace.
* God's gifts to us are to build others up
* Loved the example of a kid being on the soccer field to help the players. Ted Lasso show. We need someone to build us up and we must also be someone who builds others up
* St. Paul always had a companion nicknamed Barnabas- Son of encouragement. So that St. Paul could talk to him and discuss failures and get motivated
* Let's not be too busy for our family. Let's keep some time for our family. Fr. Mike is right! Relationships help people get closer to God
* God loves us but people around us also need to know that God loves them. Thus, pray that we get gifts from God to build others up.

Please pray for me (special intention) for the healing of all relationships and family and that couples will come to understand the goal in any relationship is to know God more through self awareness and understanding ourselves to listen and communicate better. Healing isn't linear, but the main reason studies has shown couples break up or go their separate ways rather knowingly or unknowingly is due to misunderstandings and lack of communication. We need to cultivate a joy to see the good in the other to avoid taking offense and work through the hurdles on earth as it is in heaven. Thank you Fr. Mike for sharing that example of Ted Lasso, I love that show and used to watch it. It's very motivating. 😊

Great homily, you are such a blessing father Mike. When will you be celebrating the TLM?
Im sad that Fr Mike is a Ted Lasso and to hear that people complain he didnt mention a secular non American holiday... honestly fits the narrative of people today. We do need a realignment of whats important. Encourage each other and that means our priests too. Especially Fr Mike. Love you Father and I pray for you all the time and God bless you for all the gifts you give to us all through our Lord Jesus.
Thank you Father. One of my desires is for a happy death. I want to be able to offer it, with any suffering that may come with it, in trust and total surrender in Christ. To give him back the life he gave to me as a model for my children and grandchildren and their grandchildren, amen.

I know this has nothing to do with your homily Fr. Mike. But I went to confession yesterday and I genuinely felt rushed by the priest to confess my sins , however , He did absolve me from my sins , and He specifically said I absolve you from ALL your sins , does this mean that I'm absolved from the sins I meant to confess because I sincerely did want to mention those but boy did He rush me , and I always begin with confessing any serious and mortal sins , however I just need to know if I still need to confess the sins that were not mentioned , or if any priest reading this comment , please let me know and God Bless! ✨️ I understand why He was rushing me , there was a lot of people waiting , but I still need to know and thank you 🙏

Now and pray to Jesus confess your sins and ask Him to enter your heart. Then go see a priest to lead you further. Your belief in Christ will save you but you need guidance. I’m praying for you.
