Regarding the setting of the video: I know it is not the most terrifying part - that honor goes to the prison phase, in my humble opinion - however the hotel lakeview evokes a nostalgic and tragic feeling (because obvious reasons) more than the rest. As an aside, the moment when one feels "naked" on the hard difficulty is quite tense; In addition to that "whisper"... at the gate it gave me chills in the past.
Agreed about the prison. It was so deep down... and suddenly you stood at the shore of the lake. I remember when I entered the hotel for the first time, walking past the small reception desk: the illusion was still intact. It felt quiet and profanely normal. How could we have trusted peace?
I stayed at a hotel that was eerily like the Lakeview with a boyfriend who months later abandoned me totally unprompted and out of the blue, dumping me over text, never offering a phone call. The following year and a half was incredibly painful, as I tried to remember a relationship that suddenly felt simultaneously totally fake and all-consumingly real, make sense of what I later learned were deeply manipulative behaviours from my ex, and try to piece myself together since I lost a future that was being promised to me and was suddenly "never loved" overnight. I needed a lot of isolation, and quiet, and your music really truly helped me with that (Sable String Theory was the only thing I could listen to the days following the horrible text message). But Lakeview, Silent Hill inspired tracks, and that mix of dread and hope they they produce were eerily fitting for that time period of my life, and these sounds and images always will make me remember that surreal and intense period.
This sounds like a horrible story, so I do want to again emphasise how crucial your music was for me through that time, and none of it has become ruined by the events that I experienced while listening. Essentially, you provided a soundtrack to the most dramatic part of my life. 💓❤🔥🖤

The main reason I love this channel is that your music mixes some vibes from multiple games and does it very well. I can hear Silent Hill for sure. But also I hear Resident Evil, STALKER and even Shenmue. Idk why but when I was hearing this, the first thing that came to my mind is Yokosuka Harbor but Silent Hill style - no one around, subtle snow and a light fog. Also it always sounds professional. Not just some random chords with Valhalla Supermassive on a master channel lol. Keep it up, my friend!
