Boss Jack Garland OST - Different Future Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin - Ігри
No matter who wins, Garland’s knocking someone down today.
"At the end of the dream, even Chaos, *Tears itself apart!* "
-Chaos, Dissidia
I'll miss ya, Jack.
He really did it, he finally got Chaos killed.
That wasn't Jack though. The Dissidia Chaos isn't Garland, he is a weapon created by Cid the Lufenian, he later grew to love Chaos as a son. After a tragedy Cid, Chaos and a Manikin of Cid's wife(who later became Cosmos) were trapped in World B(Dissidia's world.) There, they made a deal with Shinryu in exchange for divine power so Chaos can one day open a gate to the Rift and return to Cid's world.
Garland ended up in World B and he was the one who planned the Cycles so Chaos can become powerful enough. He even was the one who named Dissidia Chaos as Chaos because he reminded him of the form he took during the final battle of FF1.
@@georgehouliaras7239 Nobody read the secret reports.
@@georgehouliaras7239 Wasn't it revealed that Garland and WoL were also mannequins created by Cid & his wife? I'm a bit fuzzy on the specific details regarding Garland, but I know that WoL is a direct visage of Cid himself.
@@RCDeschene Only WoL is a Manikin. A perfect copy of Cid actually. Garland is the one who end up in the Dissidia world and helped Cid because Dissidia Chaos (who is also a perfect Manikin) reminded him of the form his took during the final battle of FF1. In fact, it was Garland himself who named Chaos "Chaos" because of that fact.
Such a great boss theme for Jack considering all the metal music he would listen to in game: thanks for uploading!
Certified Jack Moment
He, Garland, knocks us all down.
Damn jack boss version is huge. Surprised how he towered jack in the thumbnail
You could say the boss was…jacked.
Too bad he doesn't have a second phase where he turns into Chaos like he does in FF1. Come to think of it, if we exclude the Darkness Manifest, we never saw the real Chaos. Curious.
Chaos was the friend we made along the way.
We did and did not since this game revealed that Chaos is just a concept given a physical form. Chaos is everything and yet is also nothing. Every action we take, words we speak, people we meet, and choices made to define our lives is Chaos itself. The people of FF1 world were just simply tricked into thinking Chaos is a physical living being that causes all the bad things they do and bad events they experience but the reality is that Chaos is us. We are all Chaos and what makes us Chaos is our choices.
@@orrthehunter Chaos is a physical living being though. We fought him at the end of FF1. He is basically Garland's final form. And in SoP, one of the soldiers in the intro sees a Fiery Demon when he looks upon Garland, that's presumably Chaos design in SoP.
@@georgehouliaras7239 I know about Garland Chaos. I am talking about the Real Chaos being nothing but a concept given physical form as revealed in FF Origins. A Physical form that Jack chosen to take on because the people in the World of FF1 could not accept that Chaos is nothing but a concept about thing completely out of their own control or when they do bad things.
It is basically like the old saying "The Devil made me do it" and "It must be the work of the Devil" excuse when someone does something bad or something bad happens to themselves to avoid taking responsibility for their own actions and accepting thing are just not in their own control.
That is what the real Chaos is, a imaginary Devil given a actual physical form and the people living in FF1 world ate it all up which is why they became so easily manipulated into the Prophecy by the Lufenians and why Jack used the same method to manipulate the people in FF1 world into destroying the cycle the Lufenians created.
@@orrthehunter But Chaos does have a physical form in FF Origins too. Chaos as revealed by the Lufenian lady is memory and darkness combined, during the last battle of the base game, Jack remembers everything and becomes the memory part while the darkness of the world assumes a physical form and becomes Darkness Manifest. The reason Darkness Manifest has lacking features like no wings or tail is because he is half Chaos while Jack is the other half and they battle to see who will be the dominant one. After Jack defeats and absorbs DM, he becomes the true Chaos, both memory and darkness, gaining all the powers he had in FF1 final boss(the four elements, etc etc.) Briefly, when Jack in his Garland form exiting the castle during the prologue/epilogue, a soldier hesitates to attack him and the camera zooms into his eye, at that moment we get a glimpse of a Fiery Demon, that's Jack in his Chaos form. All I'm saying is that it would be nice to fight him in that form in Phase 2. Hell maybe even make it playable too, call it Chaos job and make it more OP than even Summoner.
I love the game but that was a missed opportunity.
he looks so fucking cool
Using the infinite chaos bringer, rune protection and sential holy shit your actual invisible, also did this fight and man it was hard lmao
can anyone tell if this music takes motifs from other FF songs? (besides jack's theme obvs) the arpeggio parts are vaguely reminiscent of the Prelude but that's about all i can hear.
Stop hitting yourself
I love jack garland I need s prequel of the prequel , love the pugilist fuck is insane ! Loveeeee it
Who are you?
I’m you!
„Ill crush you“ is the first thing that pops in my mind when thinking of Garland
Bullshit is the second 😂
I didn't get to hear much of this 'cuz I was in a hurry to get back to the Rift Labyrinth so I kinda just SZ'd everything. I don't even know what Mateus and Omega/The Transcendent do. And Light of Order was apparently a stronger WoL, lmao. I missed so much by rushing. I'll probably learn them in a null void at some point.
It's worth going back after you make your end game build. Mine is one where I abuse lightbringer and practically stay in it perpetually with the skill invincibility making me take no damage. Then I use Rush assault to literally spin to win with numerous other buffs. But make a build that isn't OP as all fuk, and fight this guy normally? It's a blast of a fight. Omega is easy, but Transcendent drops your buffs easily so it's the only boss I can't no-brain cheese with my build lol Gotta actually dodge some unlike Extra mode. lol
Peanut Garland vs Jack.
Peanut Garland? You mean Dissidia/FF1 Garland? 🤣
@@RCDeschene I am actually referring to Garland and Jack's model used in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia. Jack is shorter than Garland and since you can buy his Cyclic Armor suit, it makes him look kinda like a smol' Garland.
Chaos my bro
🤜🤛
for a final boss Jack is sure more easy to handle than WarMech/Death Machine... and I dont know what to feel about that at all...
but hey at least I can knock down a Garland again for the 3rd time.
Speak for yourself he goes fucking crazy with the buffs and abilities when you get him at half
That's weird, I had an easier time dealing with death machine then I did with Jack, I still haven't beaten him
@Bat Cena Treat the battle more like a duel. Dodge and parry his attacks, soul shield the sword of chaos if low on MP, and never attack him unless he's ending an attack animation or he'll soul shield it. Only attack with quick standard attacks that can be thrown out near instantly, avoid combo abilities as he'll punish them hard. If a magic user use Thunder magic as it's easiest to land in the frames he's vulnerable in. After chaosbringer you really can't get hit as Blood Weapon will undo whatever damage you do. If he uses Seal of Blood back away as he's using Zantetsuken right after. Keep dodging and attacking when safe and he'll eventually fall. It really is a massive test of your skill, so don't get discouraged and learn the patterns, as that's really what this is about.
To be fair, to WoL this is his first boss battle of the entire journey, and the fight ends with Jack at 90% health
How were you able to fight Garland as Jack? I've looked it up but can't seem to find anything about it
You fight him as WoL 1st for main story purpose. When you replay the mission you play as Jack himself, unless you put the WoL skin on.
@@BuffMaister Ok cool! Thanks for letting me know!
How did you get infinite chaos bringer?
When selecting a mission, press triangle that gives you extra mode.
@@BuffMaister How were you buffing with Haste with no MP?
@@MimebladeGMail Chaosbringer gives unlimited MP
What’s the job you’re using?
This is Garland job. Cyclyce Warrior or w/e it's called that you unlock after defeating omega/transcendent.
@@BuffMaister Thanks!
@@BuffMaister wasn’t cyclic warrior for beating main story
@@ParadiseLordRyu Yes.
To reclarify. Cyclic Warrior, the job, you get from beating the main story.
The armor, Garland's armor, you get for beating Omega/Transcendent.
Wo Long is good. However,Sound Tracks aren't as good as Stranger of Paradise.
What's this supposed to sound like?
its a metal version of the main theme
prelude from FF1 and SoP main theme i believe
Call this a hot take if you wish, but I think Shadows Rising would be a better fit.
My only issue with Jack being Garland is that he isn't reverse wielding that fucking monster of a sword, lol. Like, at least get that right
