    Is Christ still working?
He has told me I am saved by Grace not works.
So Christ is working for What? Not for Grace it appears.
    Rom 11:6
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

Our works are worth nothing, but salvation and the remission of sins is *Christ's* work. Therefore since we are saved by another Man's work... to us it is His Grace... but certainly He is still working. And why you ask? Because the object for which He died has not been completed. When the harvest is come He will *immediately* put forth the sickle... He is waiting (for us to choose) and working (in us toward full maturity) towards the long prophesied "full corn in the ear"

So we are not obligated to do works of the law? Our works are optional?

We will do works when Christ is abiding in us by faith, the hope of glory... Works are obligated of us as much as it is obligatory that Christ abide within us as "Christ in you, the Hope of glory"... as much as you understand that this fulfillment is necessary is the only proper regard to consider the necessity of good works. Yet even then our works do not procure for us salvation, they are only the fruit by which you identify the tree.
