You found the Isle of Dogs. We cannot know for sure that they were feral, but, after encountering feral packs in Egypt and Australia while on-foot, I would approach with greater caution, and perhaps not tease them (I do not think "they were loving it," but that's just me viewing the video). They quite likely perceived you as a food source (if not actual food), were very hungry, and very unhappy to not receive anything from you. At best, you made it riskier for the next human to encounter them. Otherwise, another fun video! Glad to see recovery on the island is proceeding.
Doug Marder I hear ya! While I may not have taunted them as captain - it was pretty hilarious. They are actually “pets” of the “caretaker” of that damaged property. Other sailors warned us not to go ashore as there have been some scary encounters already!

We're both back to work, saving for our next adventure! The next few videos chronicle my month crewing aboard Hurrah (65' Oyster). Alex from Delos introduced me to the captain and his first mate and they asked me to help out with their journey from Antigua to Newport RI. It was a neat experience, so I'm working my way through this footage now. When I'm through, I'll get back to life aboard the Starship and the sexy David will be back on screen. He's very excited ;)
