FEATR finally unlocked the secret character of their team. So happy seeing good responses for Chef Martin. Congratulations Chef, this means more job for you. 🤣
Being a noodle fanatic myself, I'm surprised they didn't feature or at least mention the classic old time noodle houses like Lingnam and Masuki. But I guess it was intentional as any noodle lover knows about it already so focusing on the hidden gem noodle houses is a novelty. The Quiksnak mami noodle looks very temptingly different I might actually try it out someday. 😊👍
I've lived most of my life between the US and Israel and travelled across Europe. HOWEVER, there are two things I've been missing so badly in the Philippines, and it's the food culture! Seeing the ambiance of Binondo itself, it's packed with energy you won't find anywhere else, and of course, the food, I'm feeling nostalgic although I've only been there one time as a child. And oh, the other thing, CHISTMAS!
Loved this video ( big mami fan here)!! Ienjoyed the "educational" moments but also really enjoyed the little chef Martin " moments". You should send him out more often!
Thank you so much for enlightening me on the different noodle soups. Many of them... I don't know 😁😁😁 I will be planning an eating trip to Binondo 🙏☺️🙏
This was good content, sharing the history of the different Mami. Everything looked delicious especially the peanut broth and the herbal noodles with the cilantro. Cannot wait to explore this part of the Philippines.
Have not been in Binondo for years! I was really looking for hand-pulled noodles. Thanks to this video, not only can we go for that but there's more to try! 😋😋😋
It's great to see that they eat from a portion of the food rather than eating it directly from the serving bowl then waste a lot of food. Kudos to you!
I love this kind of food trip videos. It made me remember Asian Food Network's food trip videos but uniquely Chef Martin's or FEATR. Mazuki Noodle House (formerly Ma Mon Luk) in Benavidez St.
How about featuring some Chinese snack foods... Their famous hopia, bisquits, sticky snacks and many unfamiliar snacks that us Filipinos are not familiar with. Thank you ☺️😍☺️
My sister is really disappointed haha. You should have gone to the old noodle houses, Lingnam, Masuki, Delicious - mga OG!! The Lan Zhou La Mien, i recommend the original branch at Masangkay, which is also walkable. Mas yummy duon! :)
I've lived in Binondo before and consider myself fairly familiar with the place - yet I've never been to Awi's! Thanks for this! P.S. Magkano allowance ni Chef Martin from Erwan? Daming napuntahan kasi 🤤
What should Chef Martin try next? Let us know! ⬇
Can we call this series The Fat Kid Outside? 😂 Just give Chef Martin and his crew lunch money to go anywhere 🙏🙏
Goto, lugaw, arrozcaldo, or whatever we call it.
THIS SHOULD BE A SERIES!!! GO TO RIZAL NEXT
Exotic meats would probably be something he should try.
longganisa
