Ryota, the bassist, doesn't actually play piano. Taka has a habit of making him learn to play certain songs on specific instruments for some performances haha. In the past, he handed Ryota a viola and gave him like two weeks to learn how to play "Hard to Love" on it for their tour LOL. Ryota works very hard🤣 The arrangement for this performance of "One Way Ticket" is of course a special version for this tour. The original is really good too, and it was actually produced with Mike Shinoda. At Summer Sonic a few years back in Osaka, Taka and Mike sang the song together on stage.
Dude….Ryota is so underrated it’s sad. ☹️ He knows how to play quite a few instruments and he definitely knows how to harmonize very well with Taka. Wish they would turn up the mic for Ryota just a smidge so ppl could really appreciate his backing vocals.
This is my absolute favorite OOR performance! The first time I saw this was way back in lockdown and there were sooooo many comments of people who got stuck on a city/state/country/continent, away from their loved ones. So this song hits hard when you listen to it in that context.
I like that song, but them striping it down like that and giving that performance to their fans. To us. It is absolutely why we love them so much. It is risky to take it down instument wise like that, but if anyone can do that in a live show are them. What a tribute to their fans. What an honor to hear Taka's voice and the band show how multicolor they are. Thank you for that reaction. That song it at the top of my very extensive list of favorites. So good. ❤️❤️❤️
John ......From someone "more mature"😉, who was very much into "rock" and especially live performances, this hit my heart, and transported me to the emotions that I had in my past. From the the beautiful beginning, the musicality and sincerity immediately drew me in. Evoking memories of many live performances experienced, some even bringing me to tears. It reminded me of what music is meant to be. In a recent airing of Suchwita with Suga, and Hoshi of Seventeen, a statement was made that , Great Music will live on to "Bring Back Memories".....the guitar and drumming build up at the end was just like the cherry on top of a luscious dessert......again, kudos to One OK Rock.....they never disappoint.👍
I can not wait till March when I get to see them live in St Louis with the Muse. They are hands down my all time favorite rock band and so stoked to see them live.
This hit hard for me because of right now. Just finalized my divorce and am moving back home to PA. Kentucky isn't home for me anymore. So, I'm taking my one-way ticket home. Yes, I'm crying. This is so beautiful and heartfelt. The OOR songs are all like that, but right now this hit the hardest for me. If you could, please send some kind thoughts and vibes and hugs. I could really use them. Thanks.
I love your reactions and am so glad that you love One OK Rock so much. This song is not reacted to so much but it is really beautiful and underrated. Any song from Luxury Disease is really good. I would love to hear your reaction to Your Tears Are Mine and Neon.
I’ve heard his songs a billion times and even saw him live, yet every time it still blows my mind!! If you want to see one if his covers look up Hello by Adele. It’s insane!!!
You definitely need to check out I Was King (orchestra live). Some other songs I highly recommend are Re:Make (this was one of the first one ok rock songs I ever heard like 7/8 years ago) another it the live performance of The Beginning
OMG when was this concert. It sounds amazing. I have listened to this song so many times, this version is fantastic. What a performer is Taka. And then Ryota at the piano, what a fantastic performance from Toru and Tomo.

I went to 2 of their last concerts this summer. Crossed my whole damn country, rented a place and camped the whole day. It was my holiday goal. I would never do that for other artists. I just KNEW I had to take that amazing chance to see them live, after 10 years. I went with my best friend and my younger sister (her first real concerts !!) who I shared my love for this band with. We were there, on the second and then first row. Let me tell you, they were definitely some of the best concerts of my life, and I can't stop myself from sharing how amazing it was. After that, we couldn't listen to the band's songs for weeks because we were so sad it had ended ! I can honestly say they are amazing live. Amazing. And they seemed really happy too. They even improvised a small jam to the hype song the crowd did in-between songs.
🇵🇹i feel só happy to see reactions to my fav groups/ bands.....One ok rock needs no introduction...all the members are incredible talented and their discography is beyond very good 🤟
The song was produced by Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park

Beautiful song I love it! I highly recommend OOK’s cover of Easy on Me. Just as good as original. Personally, I like it better than the original one.
