Why no one is questioning : what if Tesla's FSD ends up just PSD ( Partially Self Driving) and Tesla's EVs are losing more market share ? Together the Robotaxi dream will die away !
The smartest people in the world are working to make this happen and they agree it's possible and on it's way. it's really not a matter of if just when.
I probably would be asking the same question had I not experienced FSD Ver.11, Ver.12.2, and Ver.12.3. The rate of improvement is just insane and you just know that reaching FSD is not that far-fetched. Trying FSD Ver.12.3 alone would not have been enough tor me to give me that conviction. Frankly, FSD Ver.12.3 is still pretty lacking (0 to 2 non-critical interventions per 35km commute to work). It is the RATE of improvements that just screams out that reaching full-FSD is imminent.

I have dca-ed in from end of December 2021 when stock was at about $285 until now I have 105 shares and my average cost per share is now $220 so I might eventually be in profit one day 😂 Will keep buying my conviction is strong

Larry is 100% correct about the model 2.5. Analysts would love this and the stock would pop at least 100 points. This would also pop delivery numbers and revenue which can be used for CAPEX growth to accelerate the building of plants for the bot and for Gen 3 unboxed vehicles. In other words it would be the beginning of the new book Elon talked about. If Elon doesn’t launch a 2.5 then it will be a more difficult and longer road for his other products.
I'm not counting on a "$25k" Tesla. It doesn't make a lot of economic sense. I'm assuming that FSD will be completed within the next two years, by the time a new factory could be up and running. That new factory should be used for robotaxis which should be wildly profitable. The

At their rate is competitive as there is no tip. What I've read is that Uber averages $2/mile and the average tip is $1/mile. Do the math at something just under $2, assuming the tip savings will be understood. And only three years? About 200,000 miles on a car that should be perfectly usable for 500k to a million miles. Just design it for hard wear. ----- There seems to be rising dislike of tipping as it's gotten out of control. Why should I tip someone for handing me a donut or making me a sandwich and handing it over the counter? There was no service to speak of, just selling and prepping which they get salaries for. Tesla HW doesn’t necessarily mean dojo. It might mean a millions of HW4 used for verification- for every SW update they need to simulate 100s of millions of hours of driving to check safety, so they need huge farms of inference HW to do that
Why aren’t we talking more about all the compute that can/will be available to Tesla? I saw a corollary to AWS and how they can farm out compute when it’s not being used by customers. Maybe a Tesla owner could even get a cut which would incentivize them to allow it.
I bought FSD with my HW4 model Y because I would like to have a chauffeur one day. Every retiree of a certain age should consider getting a Tesla and buying FSD outright if you possibly can (Yes, the price will go up and retirees should avoid monthly subscriptions especially if you will eventually be dependent on them full time). Think of the independence it will give you as your eyes and reflexes diminish: --It takes you to the store and dr appts --Send your empty car to the grocery store to have them load your groceries and bring them to you at home. Ditto take out from restaurants. --Take you on vacations. --Allows you to live further away from your children and grandchildren because you always have your car to drive you to see them. --Allows you to stay in your home out of town if you want rather than move closer in. --It might even make you some extra income if you are willing to let it run as a taxi in your area. But then again you're going to buy even more $TSLA today anyway so you won't need it.
As someone who could benefit from FSD in the not distant future, I'd like a pre-paid mileage option. Assuming the average driver puts on about 12,000 miles per year and would need to pay $200/month, that works out to $0.20/mile. I drive about 4,000 miles per year so my per mile costs would be more like $0.60/mile if I have to pay the full $200/month.
Elon is feeling confident, buoyed by the recent shareholder support, and his outlook for Master Plan and the next decade. The guy is just happy.......and..X is killin' it. As for Delaware, all respect is lost forever, and it's up to Delaware how much more damage it wants to inflict upon itself.

I believe 08/08/2024 will not only be the unveiling of the robotaxi but will also be the release of the Rideshare app. The supervised robotaxi you will come before driverless robotaxi. In America we have a saying "Whistling past the graveyard". I fear you're doing that right now. Rimac has a prototype. They have no full self-driving solution except buying a coded system that is far from being usable. They have no experience in large scale production. And Germany legacy has yet to commit to producing EVs and ceasing ICEV production.
AI compute centers require significant real world engineering and construction -- look at the cooling tower for one third of the Texas center. Tesla is one of the most efficient deployers of capital (if not the best) and the technological leader. Look at SpaceX...
If GM announced a $25k EV they believe that GM stock would jump 100 points? I disagree. I think the stock will jump when Tesla builds a program that turns 2 million cars that are already on the road into money making machines. When Tesla owners can use their cars to print money.

I think the catalyst for at the 8/8 is that Elon will give hard data on the performance of 12.5 and 12.6 showing a path to get a single per year intervention
Why? If one is in a dodgy part of a city they may have trouble getting a taxi because the taxi driver is afraid of being robbed. Which makes sense. But who is going to rob an empty seat? Steal a robotaxi - how? You aren't going to be able to jump into an empty robotaxi and drive it away to be stripped for parts or loaded into a shipping container for a sea voyage.

I am a firm Tesla Bull and believe in humanoid robots, BUT I think people are letting their imaginations run away with displacement fears for robotics and AI. If robots bring a period of unknown wealth to the common man it will be fine.

Robo taxi is just a big DREAM ! at least for the next 3 - 5 years. Elon has been a big BIG MOUTH making multiple big pies/predictions, and later had to slap his own face eating back his words. Tesla's EVs is losing market share and Elon's robot business is facing tough competitions. Tesla is not having monopoly advantages any more.
Can one of you geniuses please answer this one question I’ve been asking so many times and no one seems to know the answer or refuses to answer If Tesla license out FSD, is it just software or is it also include the hardware the software is driving to actually maneuver the vehicle? Or is it just software and their software will work with anybody’s mechanical parts

Why? If one is in a dodgy part of a city they may have trouble getting a taxi because the taxi driver is afraid of being robbed. Which makes sense. But who is going to rob an empty seat?
Steal a robotaxi - how? You aren't going to be able to jump into an empty robotaxi and drive it away to be stripped for parts or loaded into a shipping container for a sea voyage.

I am a firm Tesla Bull and believe in humanoid robots, BUT I think people are letting their imaginations run away with displacement fears for robotics and AI. If robots bring a period of unknown wealth to the common man it will be fine.

Larry I like you and respect your opinion. But I think in the next few weeks Human greed added to the phenomenal high Tech pipeline will propel Tesla stock price far higher than we can even imagine.
We could easily see a "rational rise" fueled by a realization that Tesla is about to enter a new growth phase, a growth phase larger than the Model 3/Y period. When/if that rise happens look for the dumb part of the herd to get excited and overpay for the stock like we saw earlier when the price zoomed above $400.

The shift to an AI company may be a fact, BUT the haters will still hate. FUD is still king.
The FUDsters are mainly the “auto experts” who seem to know more about EVs than Elon. Once narrative shifts to AI, these FUDsters cannot claim they know more about AI than Elon.

Elon is bullish because 1) His compensation plan got re-approved 2) Looking forward the next stage of company development and compensation package.
Friends, Elon knows a lot more than he can tell. The stock is ready to break out. After Aug 8 before year end we could see even $1.000 stock price. Knowing what everybody else knows, and seen all tell tale Tesla exceptional High tech Marvels, I would go heavy on buying Tesla stock. I am not a financial adviser and this is only my opinion.
Robo taxi is just a big DREAM ! at least for the next 3 - 5 years. Elon has been a big BIG MOUTH making multiple big pies/predictions, and later had to slap his own face eating back his words. Tesla's EVs is losing market share and Elon's robot business is facing tough competitions. Tesla is not having monopoly advantages any more.

If Tesla license out FSD, is it just software or is it also include the hardware the software is driving to actually maneuver the vehicle? Or is it just software and their software will work with anybody’s mechanical parts
