Another overdramatized forecast, Inverness 7 minutes before 19:00 - few droplets of rain, no sign of snow 4⁰C - Honestly 8cm of snow and Amber warning? I was walking from school at age of 8 in full blizzard, visibility almost zero, 8cm of snow was the quarter of an hour sum for many hours - we ended up with half a metre of snow and shovelling it straight after - as my father used to say - snow blowers are expensive, you're free.
