One thing you didn't talk about is the performance of Sony sensors. I was using a Canon 6D before buying a Sony A7R. The dynamic range of the Sony was much better. Most of the limitations of the A7R didn't impede my landscape photography at all. Since then I have had each iteration of the R series apart from the IV. That was because the Riii was so good, even for wildlife. I'm now the happy owner of an A7RV. Brilliant camera.

Great video, but let tell the truth, no one liked it and Nikon and Canon underestimate. Also the appetite for video and good AF growth Sony brands. The correct product at the same time when consumer behaviour changed while smartphone eated the market. Sony created also the trend of A7, A7R and A7S, which are general, resolution and sensitivity.

you're not wrong! When the A7 first came out I remember it got a lot of DSLR users being less than kind about it! Some of those people I know are now shooting Sony 😂
      Appricate your feedback. Thank you.

Interesting topic but not the best person to talk about it. They did not not even make a mention about years of Sony mirror less aspc development. The A7 series was a evolutionary succesor to the Sony Nex 6 apsc mirror less camera. Oddly they mentioned about Minoltas, SLT cameras and micro four thirds.

This video is about the 10th anniversary of full-frame mirrorless. Smaller mirrorless formats existed for years before the A7 came along (MFT since 2008) but none of those were any threat to the DSLR. It was the A7 that directly brought about the DSLR's demise.
