Dollar Tree Wreath Board Rose | Step by Step Tutorial

- My first rose was a little hard to create since I was using a wreath board from my local Dollar Tree but once I had one complete, this one wasn’t as hard to create. I used roughly 50 zip ties and I use 10 mesh.

On my last row of the rose and it has come out beautifully. I find my first rodeo for any craft always looks the best because i take the most time and effort on it. Appreciate your video and content 🌹❤

How many rolls of mesh and how many pieces of the 10” did you use

Would it be easier cutting the tails off the bottom row before you put on the second row
I thought about that but I decided against it because I was afraid that it would allow the petals to come loose. So I just left it and then just tried to work around it.
I knew it would be difficult. I watch those tutorials too. Our dollar tree doesn't have the. .
Your rose is very pretty. I have two boards and they are both the small size. When I purchased them I was unaware that there were larger ones. My DS is not up to par with what I see on line. I don't know if I will find the larger boards. I need to know if this technique can be used on a small board. I am saving your tutorial and am going to watch it again. I know the folds, I just have to learn where the mesh goes. Thank you for sharing and showing all of us how to make a flower. You teach very well and I can understand what you are doing. Hello! I'm not sure of where to place the mesh just yet. I also have the small boards which I will be testing out very soon.
What size zip ties did you use?
I used a couple of different sizes. I just used whatever I had on hand. I would say medium though. I bought them at the Dollar Tree

What I find is you can never find the items that are shown from the dollar tree in the stores.

Can't buy bulk even after making wreaths for a year now,, usually minimum is 24 qty in bulk,, maybe they should mix sizes like 12 small, 12 medium, that would help a lot of new wreath crafters
12 small, 12 large,, I can't see purchasing 24 of one size unless you can afford it plus the mesh orders,, DT doesn't sell 10 " mesh that I've seen, so you're having to make 2 orders, one for boards, one at another outlet for 10" mesh.. do you have another economical option
I purchase mesh from The Wreath Shop and I’ve been happy with them.
Have the boards. To order online at Dollar tree you have to buy 36 of them so no I don't have any
Hopefully they’ll bring them to your local DT soon. Or maybe a few other people will go in on the purchase for the boards.

I used almost 2 rolls and that just depends on how big the roll is. Basically I used almost 50 10x10 cuts. I can’t remember if it was 48, 49 or 50 pieces I used. 😁

Hi Jean! So I used approx. 50 10x10 mesh pieces. I'm not sure how many rolls that would be. They can vary in sizes.

So it was roughly 50 10x10 squares. It’s almost 2 rolls of mesh (well for me it was) because it depends on how long the roll is.
