This video unlocked some form of nostalgia that I didn’t even realize I had. Maybe it’s the style in which it was recorded or the base plates being used as a back ground, but it brought back memories from simpler times when I was sitting in the floor surrounded by legos and all I had to worry about was if I had enough of the right pieces to finish the build. 🥲
Oh wow, you reminded me of my own childhood! I have 2 big boxes full of legos and I had to (and still have to) literally dig through all the lego to find the pieces I needed, I as well was being surrounded by legos on the floor. It also acts as a sort of relaxation method and therapy for me :)

Are there any alternative pieces for the turntable piece?
You could use part 87580 instead, a 2x2 square plate with a single stud in the middle. But it will feel a lot more firm and won't turn so freely. Sadly, I don't have any other suggestions
