Senior Citizen assaulted in Canacona

Philip Fernandes, a resident of Ponsulem, Canacona, has been arrested for assaulting a senior citizen and remanded to seven days judicial custody. The accused has a history of criminal activity, with four criminal cases and eight chapter cases registered against him. He was previously externed for 18 months by the South Goa District Magistrate in August 2024.
