Why we moved to Barcelona

Why did we move to Barcelona?
This is a question I get asked almost daily.
The main reason we moved to Catalonia is because of the climbing. It's some of the best climbing in the world, and also our boys' climbing team is in the area.
However, we live in the city center because of Keanu's school.
Learn Life
This is one of the best schools in the world, in our opinion. They are truly breaking thru the learning paradigm of traditional, broken school systems.
They are learner-centered, with purpose-inspired and personal learning.
It's impossible to explain exactly how they are doing the education of our kids, but all we know is that the kids are so happy.
The kids are mentally and emotionally mature. Self aware, confident.
And so much more ...
So when it came time for us to decide where we want to live, we had to make the decision of which place we need to be at the most.
And Keanu has to go to school daily.
yet for climbing they go to different gyms, different crags.
And, even though, at first we thought coming from Antigua, Guatemala which is 10 blocks squared to a big city like Barcelona will be challenging, it was truly one of the easiest transitions ever.
And, now, I can't imagine living anywhere other than right in the center of Barcelona.
Get a sneak peak of one of the things our school does. It's called intensives, where the kids choose what they want to do and focus on it for 2 weeks.
Keanu chose the Pop-up Restaurant from start to finish.
