The song likes to switch to a scale that I'm not at all familiar with making it very difficult to write transitions and insert original content and solos and whatnot. Interestingly, the new riffs I added also really trip V-Metal up for some reason so it was very difficult to get it to render somewhat properly. I'm going to need to figure out some way to cobble problematic sections together at some point so I don't have to deal with dropped samples and similar crap. Or I could just learn how to play the guitar, I know, shut up!
Simply put, I had way more trouble with this song than I'd like to admit. The end result is pretty cool anyway, and I'm super duper happy with the solos in it.

This is a problem with many Guilty Gear songs unfortunately.
Man...I was a bit skeptical but luckily, I think this captures a lot of the energy and ferocity of the original while carving out it's own sound, if not more so. Good job, man!
If they ever had I-No as a bonus boss in a Megaman game (out of bloody nowhere!) this is definitely what the theme would sound like. (Plus you can bank on it being a stage with no enemies, just a barrage of attacks while you try to get to the boss door. The 'caution' markers, they're burned into my soul I swear!)

It's literally based on Kurenai, one of their songs.
When I listen to epic soundtracks I feel a strong need of giving honor by making a guitar cover, I made a guitar cover from the original version of this song, but this makes me feel the need again, please give me your approval, I will push hard on this to make it awesome and I will give the credits you deserve for the new arrangements.

Ah, Guilty Gear. One of the few Japanese games that are goddamn metal. Dynasty Warriors and all the Musou/Warriors spinoffs count as well lol

I 'member, and yeah, there are plenty of good songs I wouldn't mind attempting. The only problem I have is that it's so incredibly rhythm-centric - but hey, so was my E1M1 arrange and that one turned out fine so maybe it's not a big deal.

Oh, and with Ryu ga Gotoku/Yakuza Kiwami 2 being out now, there's also a lot of new tunes, remixes of original Yakuza 2 tunes and new ones for the game. I'd list them, but the official OST isn't out yet.

Pretty sure anyone who has played that game would LOVE to hear any of the metal themed soundtracks from that game! I remember my friend lending it to me back in the 90's and I had no initial interest in it...10 minutes in I was hooked.
Honestly I'm not even that big a fan of the game but the battle and boss themes are insane hehe
It's considered one of the worst of the Final Fantasy games and I can totally understand. BLAND story, BLAND graphics, uninteresting characters but for some reason I ended up playing the whole damn thing and I actually liked it!

Yes, I'm planning on doing more. Dunno for sure which ones though, but I'm super in love with a number of songs. No Mercy, Fatal Duel, Suck a Sage, Awe of She, Sheep Will Sleep and a few others. Likely to do one of those before anything else ;>
