- First look out of the package for the uk made Cadet MTP webbing. Check back in a few months for followup review after we've uses the rig for awhile. These belts can be had on ebay in the ballpark of $100 usd.

Nothing wrong with this set up. Brit belt kit has always been my inspiration.
Good review video, just to add on the ''CADET'' webbing.... its designed to fit kids... hence the short lengths of webbing straps at the front.
Drop it so the top of the ammo pouches are an inch or so above the hip bone. Width of the padding really needs to be two inches front/forward of the hip bone too. The front should be clear for leopard crawling. The British mess kit can take a full 2-3,000 calorie meal, which a working person needs. A daypack can sit on the "shelf" of the rear pouches, so taking that weight on the hips again. If this rig can be made to fit you it should be pretty useful at a fraction of the cost of some stuff. For cadets so it is just one rear pouch short.
British army cadets is a youth organisation like the scouts it is sponsored by the military it give an insight to military. As a cadet at 11to 15 yrs old I attended one night a week and went on camp summer and several times through out the year cadets used spear army kit nothing fitted us well because it was designed for adult soldiers at some time in the last 20 yrs special equipment was brought for the kids. One example is when the sa80 rifle replaced the army SLR the cadets had a version with no gas parts because they weren’t allowed to shoot a semi auto cadets have a 0:06 award scheme which is based on map reading camping expeditions skills and some history. They are children not military but are sponsored with there activity by the military
So in the UK cadets is a military youth group for like 11-18 year olds they basically do play soldiers, this is not made to endure actual soldiering and that’s why the vertical harness at the front doesn’t fit you. The quality and durability of this is fractions of Jayjays etc.

As has been said Cadets are kids / young adults. Hence you are having fitting issues. You could get a tailor to fit longer webbing on the front. I realize the length of webbing is limiting how high you are wearing it but it should be lower literally around your natural waist. You don’t want pouches forward of the point of your hips with 3 row belt like that. It will chaff your thighs rucking and be painful after a few miles. 12 magazines is your standard UK Rifleman’s load. The belts with an admin pouch are more for guys in leadership. They normally have a Velcro insert that you can remove and carry six magazines. The Army Cadet Force is a great organization, I had a blast as a kid in it.
Though it is for cadets usage but still advanced than poor Taiwan beggar army for the recruits in BMTC ( basic military traing camp - year 1945 M1 helmet+ smelly S-belt + dirty canteen bottle..)
Cadet webbing is for teenagers in the UK Army Cadet Force which is up to 18 years old, that's probably why the yoke is so short on you.

It has been mentioned Cadets are kids the Cadet organisations in the UK are military endorsed youth groups between the ages of 12 to 18 ACF, CCF, ATC, SCC and MCC the material wouldn’t be as great probably made by companies like Kombat UK etc it isn’t designed for heavy combat use nor for the frames of adults the airborne is the style that it is sewn to the hip pad rather than MOLLE or PLCE fittings I used to use the configuration of 2 mag pouches 2 utility pouches a rip away med pouch 2 utility pouches then a command pouch on a MOLLE belt kit when I became a cadet instructor a few years later I used the same kit but I am and was of adult size that’s designed to fit a few mags British 58pattern 1ltr water bottle and cup, mess tins a boo boo kit style 1st aid and the mag pouches are usually used for water bottles or 500ml flask is how they are used for the kids along with a small day sack at most nowadays
i have a genuine JayJays gen 3 belt kit with patrol yoke thst i heavily modified for forestry work and its incredible! heat mitigation is great, weight distribution is good. Plenty of storage because each utility pouch has pals on the sides and top for items like bear mace, bug dope, knives. I get all the comments for my custom rig 😂
Glad you did this video so now I don't have to make one, lol. I ordered a British PLCE belt kit and turned it into a Russian SMERSH set up for my AK. SO MUCH more comfortable than old US ALICE gear or even modern US gucci belt rigs. I was going to order the Cadet belt like you have here, but I wanted to be able to switch out pouches; you can't do that with the Cadet rig.

@reddxavier2103 we havnt quite got to that point yet, I got this one for my personal use. However id love to find a supplier that can make them coming to the store a reality. I've been looking to add some dpm options soon.
