I’m really excited that someone has finally brought the box goggle up to date with modern goggles. I love that it has a quality removable module, a great DVR, a 720p screen, great battery options and all the accessories. This is definitely the best box goggle I have seen on the market today. I really enjoy the immersive feel of box goggles with their large FOV, guess it’s time to start saving. Thanks for the comprehensive review, keep up the great content and stay safe.

I just received my new Cobra S goggles and they are just incredible! I am a glasses wearer and I measured the height from top of lens to bottom and they come back as 30mm height which sits inside the goggle almost perfectly so if your glasses measure any higher it might be an issue getting them on so measure your glasses to be sure!
Really impressed with skyzone for getting into box goggles and making them this good. That 4.1in screen with a 50° FOV is awesome. Really good review man

A little over a yr ago you helped me with my Cobra S goggles (Skyzone) and I have another issue that I thought maybe with your experience you'd be able to help me. Ok the other day I wanted to brush up on my goggle/Velocidrone Sim use but when I insert the HDMI-C cable into the HDMI-IN of the goggles I then scroll down in the menu to HDMI-In and I get "No signal". I contacted skyzone, they asked me to change the resolution to 800x600 but that didn't work and besides that I never had to chg the res I used to just plug in and get my Sim thru the goggles. Can you tell me what you may think the problem is? Everything else works fine. Thnx AK!!
Thanks Albert. The included RX is better than any built-in on the Fat Sharks for sure, I only find the flat layout a bit of a problem for fitting a Patch antenna, but maybe a small coax jumper with the patch stuck to the front (like the built in patch on the Scout) You had the FS Scout previously, how would you compare these 2?

They have the X sticker on the side and you can select between 16:9 and 4:3. BTW thanks so much for showing how to work the menus. This is going to be my go to video while I learn the ins and outs of this menu. Sub'd.
You probably are using a low quality or fake cell that isn't anywhere near 3000mah in capacity. I use a Samsung 30T 3000mah 18650 cell and I get about 3 hours power on time with that cell.
As usual you bring the best review, Albert 👍👍 my eyes is very bad, -6 and -7, do you think I can see the screen without my glasses? I don't have problem with ev800dm without glasses. Does the screen length similar?
You'll need your glasses. My eyes are -6 and I need to use my glasses. However, most glasses will fit in these goggles unless they are unusually large.
It's because it's basically the same with the differences mentioned. The receiver is the same so your reception performance is the same. The only big difference is the screen which is lower resolution so won't look as nice and it won't switch into 4:3 mode. Because of that, no one will review it. But feel free to go complain on the other channels, you might get lucky. 😁
Hey Albert, Did you test how long the goggles run on a good 18650? I am only getting 12-15 min on a new LG HG2 18650. IWhen the goggle shuts down the battery tests at 3.9 volts and only takes 250 ma to charge back to 4.2 volts. I use the same batteries in my Jumper T-Lite with CrossFire at 100mw dynamic, and can fly for hours. Not sure if my goggles are bad or if all of them behave like mine. I did upgrade to the new Cobra X firmware 1.3.6
I get about 1.5 hours on a Samsung 18650 30Q cell. I probably can get close to 2 hours on a newer cell but mine is old and has a lot of cycles on it. I don't know anything about those LG cells but perhaps the current output is too low and the voltage sag on that cell is causing the goggle to shut down before the energy is actually drained from it.
Yeah lately, they're all so slow. Anything from overseas is taking a long time due to logistics issues and the virus wreaking havoc all over the place.
Bought this to replace my faithful Fatshark Scout in hope of less breakups. Definitely an improvement all around to the Scouts. However, there's a big issues if you use an 18650 battery. Unlike the fatshark that will go over an hour and continuously monitor your battery situation; unfortunately the Cobra X will simply turn-off! No visual or audible warning. I see there's a setting for DC monitor on the OSD but has no functionality. :(
The receiver this comes with is better than rapidfire so no need to replace it but if you want to it will work with other receivers in diversity mode only.
please deeper test it. I have Skyzone Cobra X, and i think it reduce FPS. It is not 60/50fps. in my opinion it show 25/30 fps. image not smooth like a another analog fpv goggles.
Hmm,, that's odd. I ordered a CobraX in Grey not white. Box is labeled CobraX not CobraS. The screen resolution matches the CobraX too. Maybe you go that part off just a bit. What I'm looking for is how to adjust Band and Channels because the manuals way of doing that isn't working for me.

@@AlbertKimTV yassss... Finally we can long range with box goggles
can you please review the cobra s? no one reviewed that but everyone reviewed the x what the....?
It's because it's basically the same with the differences mentioned. The receiver is the same so your reception performance is the same. The only big difference is the screen which is lower resolution so won't look as nice and it won't switch into 4:3 mode. Because of that, no one will review it. But feel free to go complain on the other channels, you might get lucky. 😁
@@AlbertKimTV wait I thought the screen of the S _only_ does 3:4? Also the screen quality difference is exactly what I'd be interested in.
I don't know anything about those LG cells but perhaps the current output is too low and the voltage sag on that cell is causing the goggle to shut down before the energy is actually drained from it.
will rapid fire work on it
Yes, but you'll need a custom cover.
@@AlbertKimTV thanks, cause i wear glasses too
Just ordered the X version from Banggood 2 days ago, still processing .....zzzz
Yeah lately, they're all so slow. Anything from overseas is taking a long time due to logistics issues and the virus wreaking havoc all over the place.
Bought this to replace my faithful Fatshark Scout in hope of less breakups. Definitely an improvement all around to the Scouts. However, there's a big issues if you use an 18650 battery. Unlike the fatshark that will go over an hour and continuously monitor your battery situation; unfortunately the Cobra X will simply turn-off! No visual or audible warning. I see there's a setting for DC monitor on the OSD but has no functionality. :(
I use a high quality cell and it has less voltage sag and longer run time. Molicel or Sony VTC6 cells are better.
Is it possible to place a receiver module in these gloogles as a rapidfire or another? If not, how to make long range with these googles?
The receiver this comes with is better than rapidfire so no need to replace it but if you want to it will work with other receivers in diversity mode only.
@@AlbertKimTV Thaty is, is it possible to fly long range using the rapidmix of these gloogles? Thanks for suport dear!
My HDMI input is not working with the Skyzone Cobra X goggles. Anyone faces same problem?
I heard someone else had a similar issue and they had it resolved by contacting Skyzone support.
@@AlbertKimTV Sure. Let's see. I contacted them yesterday. Will update you later on.
What antennas do you recommend on this goggle?

please deeper test it. I have Skyzone Cobra X, and i think it reduce FPS. It is not 60/50fps. in my opinion it show 25/30 fps. image not smooth like a another analog fpv goggles.
V1 is 30fps ... only V2 is 60fps
@@AlbertKimTV in dvr? Or live view mode?
I got some 18650 battery's and it not fitting they are 3500 mAH
Use flat top 18650 cells
Hmm,, that's odd. I ordered a CobraX in Grey not white. Box is labeled CobraX not CobraS. The screen resolution matches the CobraX too. Maybe you go that part off just a bit.
What I'm looking for is how to adjust Band and Channels because the manuals way of doing that isn't working for me.
Why am I watching everyone's review for this 😂
we have and fatsahrk scout!!!!
