Two things I noticed different from the US on the highways there is there are no shoulders or breakdown/emergency lanes on the sides of the highway and the other thing is that the trucks or (lorries? spelling) are shorter in length. Thanks for the video
These are smart motors ways. The bard shoulder has been converted into a live lane in an effort to curb the ever growing traffic on the motorways. however there are these yellow coloured emergency lanes where one can stop. But if by any chance you breakdown on the lane, the traffic which is being constantly monitored will be stopped and re directed to other lanes to mitigate the danger..
