Adapted from the beloved literary classic, THE CALL OF THE WILD vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team--and later its leader--Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master.
As a live-action/animation hybrid, THE CALL OF THE WILD employs cutting edge visual effects and animation technology in order to render the animals in the film as fully photorealistic--and emotionally authentic--characters.

I literally don’t understand why everyone hates this movie, it’s seriously beautiful.
wAIT IS IT REALLY HATED???
BRO I LOVE IT SO MUCH IT’S A LITERALLY SO GOOD
Jack Londond is a beautiful writer. The movie will no doubt never live up to the book. That's why.
Everyone is complaining about CGI but no one appreciates the fact that they got Buck's breed right.
ChaikaFace CGI is everywhere now, but you CGI a dog and people lose their shit smh.. at least the dog looks amazing
True! He looks exactly like what I imagined.
Half st.Bernart
Half Shepard
I read the book
vallyra16 yes. Fun fact, the model of the dog was based off of the director’s dog, who is a Saint Bernard collie mix as well.
Final Boy nope. Not joking about that.
The music that accompany this whole sled dog scene is just so epic!! I love how it makes me feel, like I can accomplish ANYTHING!!! 🐕🐅🐕🐅🐕
It’s Buck working tune/ motif!
@@cantifirmi4921 thanks so much!!!
This dog has given a lesson -> unleash the beast within even if you believe you can't do something doesn't mean you can't do something. You just have to initiate and have a right mentor who can see potential within you to push/force you step ahead.
Again another Touching story about a dog tale.... Love Buck, best dog
I watched this movie yesterday and I loved it, I don’t care about the cgi, I think it looks cool
Edit: I commented on this video? Wow I forget shit lol thanks for the likes too guys! I still love this movie
Same here
Same I think the CGI is good
Same
Bread potato Blah the CGI gives it its own feel
Same!!! Because they could never EVERRR get a real-life dog to do what buck does
Me and the kids (Simon, 11, and Zoe, 12) saw it opening night and forget what the reviewers say, the visuals and storytelling were amazing. Most fun family movie we've seen in years!!!!!!
flopped hard af
Same. I’m the same age of Simon, this movie was very good!!! The CGI looks amazing.
Smh nobody can appreciate the hard work put into the CGI. UA-cam commentators are a bunch of picky brats
The call of the wild is the most emotional and best adventurous, films of all all all time as a dog lover loved it ❤️
Idc what people say about this!
This looks amazing as heck! Can’t wait to see it :D
I have to agree with you man Ive already watched it and its hella amazing! The beautiful sceneries and the interesting plot. I LOVE IT!
Just saw it tonight and it really was a fun & beautiful adventure. If you love dogs in general then you'll love it!
i've been waiting for this for so long.
I absolutely loved this movie. I cried like a baby when I saw it in theaters
Movie name plz
@@JatinderSingh-bo3kq call of the wild. It’s the name on this video
I just love the books of Jack London , this , and White Fang.
No one says Mush. The word to get them going is Hike.
Helloooooo Gone to the Snow Dogs
Gone to the Snow Dogs love ur channel
Yeah
I thought so too
This movie is set during the 1800s, so maybe a dog sledder gave the "mush" command during that era.
The CGI isnt that bad i mean Buck looks nice and Im impressed that the scenery is CGI which gives it all away.... You guys have to watch this touching parallel movie I HIGHLY RECOMMENDD!!
The original novel is the first book I ever read in my childhood. Imagine a 9-year-old children's fantasy. Believe me no movie in the world can even come close to that feeling.
A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.
this is the best movie i’ve ever seen
Buck. The most respected dog I've ever read of
"You might wanna...hang on."
Call of the Wild is a amazing movie, such a feel good movie. Really enjoyed watching it. One of my favorite Harrison Ford performances. Buck is so cute 🐶 😊
Indeed...such a good and touching movie...it made me cry
...I love dog since I watched it🐶🐶🐶🐶❤

Buck walking like a boss
Best scene in the movie hands down
John Powell’s score for this film is spectacular
Can we just appreciate how strong buck is👏🏻
I miss when they would use real dogs and cgi mouth movements when the dogs talk but the body and head movement was real
Those films didn't die. You can still watch them lol
Do you know that the last film to do that was the live-action remake of Disney's Lady and the Tramp, released in November 12 of 2019 alongside Disney+ as an original film for it.
Segment Gweezy Trust me, when you read the novel, you’re going to be glad they use CG dogs. Because let me tell you, it is not pet friendly
Its a smart move to use cgi dogs. Because if they didn't, there would have been multiple murder and animal cruelty cases being thrown at them while making this movie. Just imagine doing a scenr where buck is riping people's neck's, how would you have done that with a real dog?
They could "easily" use real dogs and still keep them 100% safe. How? Hollywood is famous for mixing real actors with CGI actors. It would be pretty possible to leave the more dangerous scenes with the CGI team. I think the reason they didn't mix it, was because they wanted more facial expressions and that sounds easier to be done by using a whole CGI dog than filming a real dog and then projecting the expressions with CGI.
When I first saw the movie I was addicted and I’m still addicted😂
I'm kinda looking forward to this. They don't make family adventures like this anymore for the big screen, it could be a fun ride.
I watched it today and its fricking awsome

Hello Clara how's the weather over there
So brave and beautiful pets😍😍😍🐕
As a person who saw the 1963 movie "Jason and the Argonauts" in which Ray Harryhausen animated a fight between skeletons to now Buck in "Call of the Wild" animation has progressed a far, far way.
Hello George how's the weather over there
@@steveanthony8653 I am located in the Dallas area and for us this has been a great summer, not the usual scorcher with rain so really can't complain.
@@geoseward Oh that's same here I'm from Dallas Texas where are you from?
Nice work John Powell!!
I love how hes like, getting ready and everything while the two get ready, and the girls all like: "you might wanna hang on"
😂😂
I can not wait to see it! Beautiful film made with skill! I have read in the various comments that the CGI is poor, but I find it extremely realistic. People who are never satisfied and who are only good at pointing fingers ...
Ayoub Monno you should! I watched this movie yesterday and I’m so in❤️ with this movie Buck is such an cute dog😭❤️
Ikr!!! If they don’t have anything nice to say about the movie, then don’t say something! I hate those CGI haters. If they don’t think it looks real, they probably never seen an animal before.
Man, all I can think about is how it would like (2D) Animated
1:09 Me and the boys when the pizza roles are done
That it looked very interesting and very fascinating to see that
I have Cats PTSD flashbacks from this, thanks.
I wasn't sold on the CGI, but seeing as I love the story and this clip looks promising - as well as the reviews I've heard - I think I might go give it a watch.
Love this movie!
I love this movie it's now a family favorite
Movie nem please
Loved this movie!!!
Plz movie nem
This is a very good movie love it I could look at it every day
How are they going to make call of the Wild into a children’s movie I re read that book and I’m still mulling it over
I wonder if Buck mutilates a bunch of Indians at the end of this Disney movie, that would be cool. The Buck from the book would traumatize kids.
it is not supposed to be a kids movie but it was a good one i am telling you modern disney makes things like the mandolorian wich isnt really kid freindly either
Kay Allen The Mandalorian was advertised that way though. This movie is shown to be for kids while the Mandalorian is Star Wars which is typically a science fiction type setting. Also please correct your spelling and grammar.
Charlie Smith That’s some family friendly content right there. Or when the ignorant Americans work the dogs to death and abuse them and they drown in the lake?
I think the CGI is amazing
Great flick!
This looks so cute!!
Your cuter😏
That is one hell of an expressive dog. It makes it look so unrealistic. The CGI itself is not bad, but the animation gives it away.
Its rather the fur to be honest that gives it away. The body movement is pretty darn nice, well the face animation gives it away too- but Im pretty sure thats wanted. After all the dogs are the main characters that are supposed to have emotions. Better than the new lion King with no emotions at all, despite talking Lions😂
@@Scyrina Seriously, people were complaining about how unexpressive Lion King was and now they are complaining because these dogs are too expressive... There's no way you can make viewers happy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I personally also like this kind of animation better than what they did in TLK
@@Sinasni Someone agrees. People can never be happy.
Everyone with the lion king remake: there's no emotion😡
Everyone with this movie: too much emotion😡
I swear people just complaining at this point
@@swiggityswooty2720 😂 I thought both movies looked really good myself. Of course there will always be flaws here and there but people just really like to say "this movie looks like shit." Just because nothing impresses them nowadays.
bro u wouldn't believe I just watch this on tt
Amazing movie
It was a heart touching movie,I love it👌👌
I just went to see this movie and it was so good
Wow i can’t see the movie
Movie nem please
He's fast too
Awesome
this looks so cool
This is move is underrated
This scene reminds me of a very similar one in the animated Balto movie by Universal
Great movie i loved it
Nice ❤️
I watched this movie today. It was very awesome, but the end was, uhh, kind of emotional.
*Spoiler Alert*
In the end, the dog finds its real home and the old man disappears. The old man had no home. He was married and had a son, but his relations with her wife wasn't very good and his son went for an adventure to find gold, but died. The old man goes for adventure with Buck. The dog, in the beginning, would easily get scared, but after meeting many new masters, he finally becomes brave in the end.
Qual e o nome do filme
I watched this recently and it a very good movie. I recommend to anyone read the book by Jack London. Also White Fang by the same author. Two of the greatest adventure books of all time.
This has better cgi than cats
I love this movie
Like the animation❤❤❤
Make like this story more
the fact buck is way bigger than the rest of em is terrifying
It looks like an old time St. Bernard

CGI ain't bad people.
WGamerTV / WGTV what does that mean?
@@Mars-jp2dg You should know this.
Computer generated images
It is when it’s used when it doesn’t need to be. That’s not a real dog. At what point does everything start becoming fake and/or computer generated? Where’s the realism? It’s lazy and cheap and it loses all emotion and personality. All I see is a thing that’s not really there, that the actors can’t actually interact with. CGI has a time and a place to bring unreal things to life, but to make a movie and animate all the dogs when we literally have real fucking dogs is stupid. The human eye knows the difference and it’s not genuine or believable at all.
NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED in the making of this movie BECAUSE CGI was used!!!! That's a GOOD thing, sheesh! Using real animals in these scenes would have hurt them. Thank goodness for CGI
Have you heard of special effects? Real dogs can be used without harming them
