Just bought the sonic HSS and the Debut, these are simply great guitars. I am not a pro, just a bloke learning every day, and these two guitars can only make me better. Thank you for your great guitars.
I bought the Black one for a 'Black Strat' project. I had many guitars. The last 5 years I was into HB guitars. Not one of them was playable without a fret level job. and other mayor flaws. This Squier came out of the box without uneven frets, smooth frets, good intonation, good sound, very playable. A fresh breeze to compare to what I had before.
They all seem to be improving these days. The HB's I bought recently, all but one came set up, but there is a rough edge here and there. The fender sonic was how it is supposed to be done. The one I have came with a card with stamps on it to say what checks had been made. I ut people do that anyway.am keeping the pickups . The pots need replacing on mine, b
I opened up the box and I couldnt believe how thin it is.... That's what I was looking for!!! Thank you Fender for making a lefty version of the Strat! By the way this reminds me a lot of Clapton on his Blackie Strat

I got the Squier Sonic Telecaster for $179 with a 10% discount at Guitar Center last week. I like it so much that I'm pre-ordering the Sonic Stratocaster in Ultraviolet tonight before the 10% discount ends in 45 minutes. I'm more of Strat & SuperStrat guy (4 Fender Strats, 7 Ibanez RGs, a Jackson Dinky), but I haven't been able to put that Sonic Tele down since I got it. I'm so impressed with the overall quality of the guitar and how good the pickups sound. No sharp frets or fret buzz either. I'll probably eventually get the pink Strat too. It kinda reminds me of the Hello Kitty Strat.
I just pre-ordered the purple one a few minutes ago from GC and got a 10% discount. Got the Tele last week in butterscotch blonde for 10% off too and was very impressed by it. I'm hoping the Strats are just as good. If I like the purple one I'll eventually order the pink one. The Strat in Tahitian Coral looks nice too.
What I love most about the pink Strat with the single humbucker is how incredibly light it is! I rarely play my Gibson LP anymore because it feels like a boat anchor hanging on my neck. The Sonic series is fantastic and a big improvement over the Bullet series, and I now have 3 of the Sonic Strats and a Sonic Tele.
Just got my Graffiti Yellow HT Sonic Strat, and I’m really happy with the build quality. It’s truly great that you can get this much guitar for a couple of hundred bucks. Nice tones.
Welp, I may be late to the party, but I just now bought my very first guitar, it's a surf green squire strat. I've never touched an instrument in my life, but I love the electric guitar so much and decided to learn how to play it over the summer. It's a beautiful guitar and I'm glad to own it. Hopefully I'll be able to learn!
@diadora9292 yes,it's worth it,I'm planning to maybe change the neck on it since it's only 21 frets and a 22nd fret is really helpful for me but otherwise it's a beast,I'd definitely upgrade the pickup selector and volume pots,the pickups aren't even that bad,it's that strat sound so I'm happy with the pickups I might not even upgrade the pickups, tuning pegs are okay,I'll get locking but really this guitar stays in tune well as long as you set it up correctly and lubricant the saddles and anything that moves or creates friction.

I’m a little late to the party but I’ve been gigging more in my home town and I keep snapping strings on my main strat while trying to perform… so I just bought 3 of these, the California blue, the ultraviolet and the Torino red
@@jogmas12 I'd say these were the perfect beginners guitars but the quality of Squier guitars has come along in such leaps and bounds recently that it's much harder to outgrow them like you would back in the early 2000's etc. One of these setup well and looked after would be a wicked practice guitar or something to mess about with. And that pink one with a humbucker is too cool not to buy.

Just bought tahitian orange hss, i will be putting a fender roasted maple neck with fender locking tuners, and i will be trying out the cunife pickups on this with a pearl pickguard.

I got the HT model, this was the first squier that I’ve bought that had a lot of imperfections. Guess this one was made on a Friday at the end of the day, the 1 of 100 lemon. Didn’t finish sanding the back the neck, actually had rough spots. Gouge into a fret which made the one fret end sharp, gouge on the headstock and the back of the neck. I ended up putting a 50’s classic vibes neck on it. Much better lol. Pickups sound good though, especially playing some SRV style stuff. I will enjoy this guitar very much!
I just don't understand why they refuse to make a vanilla, string-through HT Stratocaster. It's not like they can't do it for the price. They've done it with the Bullet Telecasters for years. Which brings up another point... Why aren't the Sonic Series Telecasters string-through?
I'm glad they aren't string through....that is called a telecaster. This reminds me of my old 1983 Smith I had when I was a teenager... Love it just like it is!!
I bought that one and traded it for the hss version. That’s the lmtd edition sunburst with black pick guard. The California blue sss sounds really beautiful and bright if that’s your thing. I’m impressed with these guitars.

@@TheTwangKings I am 61 and hearing impaired. So, because of being hearing impaired it might be a challenge for me to hear the difference between the Sonic Squire and a professional level strat. For the time being I really like what I have and it’s a great place to start. Therefore it is definitely worth it for me. Tomorrow I am expecting my new Mustang LT25 amp and gonna have another hard time sleeping wishing it were here now. When it arrives I can finally start to bother the neighbors 👍👍👍😁.

@@dydysh99 These series of Squier are actually meant for Intermediates and Beginners, many people dont consider buying Squier because they dont know how to make it sound good, just remember to not give up when learning something because every failure is a step closer to being a master at the guitar🫶🫶

Here's a PSA for you younger guys out there who are thinking of getting this because it's all you can afford. If you mod it, you will lose that money. Save up for a Mexican Player. It's all you'll ever need in a Strat, for way less of the American. Mod a Mexican if you feel like it, but keep the OG parts and put those back on the guitar if you flip it. Don't throw money away on a Squier if you are serious about guitar, I wasted so much money on crap guitars I could probably have every model of American Fender guitar they make.
I guess the mode of thinking here is to use an amateur to sell to amateur's? This really didn't showcase what these guitars are sonically capablest all.. They are a thousand times better than this video portrayed!

Just picked up the single HB pink strat. Insane mod platform for anyone on a budget. Or....use as is and its still an insanely good deal.

Infact it's almost as solid as a floyd rose for dive bombs so it's a great guitar,well built
