- NATO has said it will deploy additional forces to Kosovo, following clashes between peacekeeping troops and ethnic Serb protesters which left dozens injured.
The violence was triggered by mayoral elections won by ethnic Albanian candidates, but boycotted by Serb voters: the fallout, though, threatens to derail a fragile peace in the region.

At the height of French riots, *they controlled large spots city, entire quarters* and were harassing anyone on those quarters to forcibly join them or support their “petition” / political manifesto.
Some of them have actually been identified as Serbian POLICE staff from Serbia. Nothing to do with local Serbian minority from Kosovo. These events took place in 3 different places simultaneously. Well organised. Nothing spontaneous.
That’s because they’re a mix of paid ultras and criminals and actual police officers from servia sent by belgrade to incite violence.
Sadly these hooligans endangered even the few actual peaceful protesters

One thing about Serbia is I’m jealous of how top tier of liars their politicians are, they’re so good at it that even they start to believe in their own bullshit, but it gets the job done and cause chaos because they deceive millions of people
Es handelt sich in diesem Fall nicht um normal bürgerliche Serben. Die Serbische Regierung unternimmt seit vielen Jahren schon diesen illegalen Wohnungsbau im Norden und gibt Gefangenen oder sozialschwachen ohne Familie eine 2. Chance.
Es gibt sogar albanische Dokus darüber. Wenn du z.B. als Serbe in Serbien ins Gefängnis musst, kannst du es sozusagen wieder gut machen und wirst auch noch von der Orthodoxen Kirche als Volksheld geehrt. Du bekommst Wohnung und Strom in Kosova kostenlos, musst dann im gegenzug bei Organisationen, Versammlungen und politischen Aktivitäten mitmachen. Und du hast dich zum Wählen verpflichtet.
Das ist quasi eine politisch organisierte Hooligan-Manufraktur. Ich nenne es auch die Orkzucht.
Bis vor zwei Jahren war die Serbische Politik sogar so gut darin, dass interessanter Weise nicht nur serbische, und russische, sondern sogar albanische Steuergelder in diese Orkzucht geflossen sind. (Korrupte & Kriminelle Ex-Regierung in Kosova)
Das wurde dann aber von der aktuellen Kosovarischen Regierung vor fast einem Jahr mit einer als Intervention gegen illegalem "Cryptomining" getarnten Multilokalen-Riesen-Razzia unterbunden und seit dem gibt es immerhin nicht mehr diese Unterstützung durch Stromversorgung bezahlt durch kosovarische Steugergelder. Man hat dutzende Mining Stätten beschlagnahmt. Dadurch gibt es jetzt auch nicht mehr diese extreme Stromversorgungsknappheit, so die insider Infos. Über die Jahre hat sich da ein immenser Schaden entwickelt.
Jedenfalls wird die Integration und Teilhabe am Orkheim auch für normale Serben aus Bosnien/Serbien/Mazedonien ermöglicht. Das wird in der Doku ganz ausführlich gezeigt wie das funktioniert. Ist fast schon besser und auf jeden Fall praktischer und unbürokratischer als bei Harz-4, Bürgergeld und co. Die Prüfen am Anfang erstmal intensiv ob du auch ein aus gutem Rotz geklebter Ork bist!

Let me give you some facts here.
1. Kosovo, being mostly Albanian means that actually, Kosovars' ethnically have existed in the Balkans and in the lands that are now Kosovo for far longer than Serbians. Why?
2. Albanians are NOT Slavs/Slavic. Albanians however have existed in the Balkans and Europe for FAR longer than the Slavs. In fact, even back during Rome, Albanians lived in Europe but Kosovo was at one point called Dardania and was a Roman Province.
3. Over centuries, Slavs FINALLY started appearing in Europe by raiding and attacking settlements including Dardania and then, there was a FULL Slavic INVASION of the Balkans. Yes, that's right, the Balkans are not some sort of "ancestral home" for Slavs. They invaded the Balkans.
4. Slavs therefore, only entered the Balkans starting in about the year 600-700 AD. Albanians were already there. The Albanians, for example, existed before the Roman empire came to the Balkans and created the Province of Macedonia. There are references to Albanopolis and Albonia from the 2nd century BC. We know Albania is older than Slavic civilization in the Balkans.
5. Then in around 1389, the Kingdom of Serbia was defeated by the Ottoman Empire in Kosovo and Kosovo and other lands became part of the Ottoman Empire. So since 1389, Kosovo has not been part of Serbia.
6. Even during Yugoslavia, Kosovo was ALWAYS considered an "autonomous" REPUBLIC. That is, it was viewed as an autonomous region within Yugoslavia.
So, no, Serbia has no claim on Kosovo. Yes, you had your 600 years of control over Kosovo after the Slavs invaded the Balkans, but many people had lived in the areas of ancient Kosovo for far longer than 600 years and even still, it has been a FURTHER 700 years since Serbia lost Kosovo. Move on.
7. Kosovo has been Albanian for longer than it was ever Serbian. Serbia did not always own Kosovo by the way, because as I stated above, Serbians didn't even exist in the Balkans until MAYBE the 6th century AD and were not even CHRISTIAN until the 9th century.
8. So basically, before Serbia ever controlled Kosovo, Kosovo was conquered by the Romans and THEN later the Byzantines, then by the Bulgarian Empire, then the Byzantines again and Serbia controlled it until the Ottomans conquered it in 1389.
9. There is evidence that Albanian was spoken in Kosovo BEFORE the first Serbian monastery was EVER built there. So, Albanians have a claim to Kosovo that exists FAR further back in history than Serbs. You can see this also if you study the Albanian language, which shares far more similarity to Greek/Hellenic languages. Meanwhile, Slavic languages actually more closely related to Germanic languages relatively speaking. So, no Kosovar Albanians have more claim to Kosovo than Serbs if we're going to play this history game.
Policing without local civilian consent or cooperation is not policing.

Serbs boycoted elections because Pristina didnt respect agreement to create Serb municipalities that EU and US agree on and expect Kosovo to fulfill promise.
Kosovo hold elections in Serb majority municipalities and only 3% of voters Albanians minority predominantly attend the voting and elect Albanian mayor.
Serb start protesting because turnout on the elections has to be atleast 51% to be legitimate and they dont accept Mayor elected by 3% of the voters.
Elected mayor takes office with force aided by Kosovar police.
1) Kosovo wont have a Republika Srpska in Kosovo like they have in Bosnia. We dont fall for that trick. 2) Serbs listen to much to mr Milosevic's runner boy Aleksandar Vucic who actually just uses them as political pawns. 3) Life in KS for serb minority is 10x better than for serbs in Serbia. 4) Anywhere in the democratic world, if one party doesnt vote during elections, the next biggest party wins. Thats just how it worlds. 5) Elections are not mandatory and nobody can obligate a precentage of voter turnout to a country with free voulentairy elections. I dont buy this.

Since Channel 4 began covering this issue, not ONCE has anyone mentioned the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities that would give Serbs of Northern Kosovo the autonomy they seek. This was signed and agreed upon by all sides in the 2013 Brussels Agreement and reinforced earlier this year in March when both sides met in Ohrid. The formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities is a condition that the Kosovar agreed upon, but has failed to implement. Instituting their ethnic Albanian mayors, following a 3.4% voter turnout, is just the latest in a long series of provocations and Serbians in Northern Kosovo are fed up. To improve your coverage of this issue & provide the context that your viewers deserve, please do your due diligence and include these important facts.

If anyone wants to live in any country, all nationalities must adhere to the rule of law of that country equally. It's the only way any country can function properly.
All we need is real democracy in all of Balkan with equal rights for all peoples.

So after all of that history, after Kosovo being separate from Serbia and on top of that even during the Yugoslavia years it was given autonomous status as a region, once Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia all wanted their independence, Kosovo did too obviously but because they were small, they had a harder time compared to the others. In 1941, The Monarchist, Serbified Yugoslavia fell down to the Fascist foes. The liberators were the Yugoslav Partisans led by Josip Broz Tito who with the power of wisdom and patience managed to liberate Yugoslavia from fascism and the Chetniks.
Speaking of the "monasteries", Kosovo was actually a Bulgarian land in the 9th century (as mentioned by Elsie in 2010). The first monasteries were built after the Christianisation of Bulgaria in 864. So uh, yeah, you might be in a rivalry with the Bulgarians.
Also, the Battle of Kosovo was never decided. Both sides, the Ottomans and the Serbians suffered very heavy losses. As Fine (1994) said, "Thus since the Turks also withdrew, one can conclude that the battle was a draw.". Says a lot about your insecurity.

MEP Viola comments appeared more like blaming external forces which caused the violence protest but not Kosovo. The crux of the issue was the Kosovo PM unilateral action to send ethnic Albanian mayors into town halls in northern Kosovo’s Serb majority area. Maybe he was directed by someone to create another war front in the Balkans.
The mayors were democratically elected. It's not the PMs fault Serbs in the north listened to Vucic to not vote.

According to the current international resolution 1244 - NATO has no right to come to Kosovo and Metohija. The Serbs have been expelled from Kosovo for centuries in the most brutal way. So much for the "Peaceful co-existence" the UN touted back in 1999. It appears the EU is no better at managing these types of problems that they (the UN) are. There is no way to make both sides happy and the side that is the most unhappy will resort to violence. It's funny how, in most the other breakaway former Yugoslav Republics, the type of violence seen in Kosovo is all but no-existent. The region will always be a bone of contention and a flash point for violence. Centuries old hatreds and grudges are closely held by those on both sides.

That have influence over people ideals and how both sides always fight over land. The Greeks I would say are more like the Russians and the USA more like the Roman Empire. I would believe that the Romans are more derived from Greek ideas.
