This song is called 'Blues for Bella' written by Bob Berg. A studio version can be heard on his CD Enter the Spirit. On that track there is Dennis Chambers on drums, Chick Corea on piano, and James Genus on bass. Gotta say this live recording/personnel is more my taste than the studio version.

Gary Novak is such a monster. over fifteen minutes at that energy level is amazing and it grooves like the grand canyon.
This is exactly what this type of jazz is supposed to sound like!
