ABOUT OUR GUESTS
Gervais began his stand-up career in the late 1990s. He has performed five multi-national stand-up comedy tours, and he wrote the Flanimals book series. Gervais, Merchant, and Karl Pilkington created the podcast The Ricky Gervais Show, which spawned various spin-offs starring Pilkington. Gervais has starred in films like, Ghost Town, the Night at the Museum trilogy, and Muppets Most Wanted. He hosted the Golden Globe Awards five times. Currently, Gervais is credited as the creator, executive producer, director, and writer for the Netflix comedy series After Life, where he plays the lead role of Tony Johnson.
Matt Vogel is one of the Core Muppet Performers. Some of his characters include; Kermit the Frog, Sgt. Floyd Pepper, Uncle Deadly, Lew Zealand and Constantine. He also performs Big Bird, The Count and many others on Sesame Street. As part of Sesame Street’s directing team, he has earned seven Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Directing in a Children’s Series” and directed the Primetime Emmy Award-Winning special Once Upon A Sesame Street Christmas for HBO. He is also a coproducer on Sesame Street and the show’s Puppet Captain.

I missed Constantine, and even made my own custom Constantine puppet, he’s one of my favorite muppets!
Not to throw shade at Steve's Kermit performance, because it was obviously great - but I really love how Matt Vogel is performing him more like Jim's Kermit. He's doing a great job!
You like Steve's Kermit but prefer Matt's Kermit

No offense to Ricky, but I'm only here for Matt (and Constantine), I could listen to him read the yellow pages and I truly think I'd be entertained! He had me dying laughing as Constantine here!
Also, I completely agree with what Bill said about Matt's vocal performance and how unfair some comments/posts can be about him. I honestly love his performance as Kermit and I think he's getting better and better each time he performs him!
Also just wonderful insight about the intricacies of how you guys work fascinate me, even though I'm a puppeteer myself and know a bunch of this stuff. The Pit Club is truly really cute!

Literally anyone could have made that, you have no way of knowing, but you're taking it as gospel. I really doubt anyone dislikes Steve to the degree you're suggesting. You either act like you never liked him in the first place, or because "can-do-no-wrong" Disney didn't want him, you think he's worthless to anyone and you just cherry-pick information to confirm your own bias.
