I bought Katia Merino Classic at a little yarn shop in Fergus, Ontario. Mine us a gradient and I am knitting a long feather and fan fan scarf that is so pretty. I am leaving soon for a Baltic Christmas Market tour & this will be my plane knitting project 🧶🎄❤️
Happy anniversary ❤ I just want to let you know I have knitted i Drops Karisma before. If it is a superwash it does not act like it. My husband sweater keeps the shape fine many years in😃
I’m with you on the colourwork socks. Because for me 1) socks are my relaxation knitting and having 2 colors on the go and watching a chart is not so relaxing and 2) it is hard to get the fit right- stranded colorwork is not as stretchy. With your Karisma pullover if you’re concerned about it being superwash you could always try blocking what you’ve got so far and see how it responds. I frequently block on the needles! I think we’ve all had a project like this- but I’m sensing you’ll have it finished by Christmas!
That single sock is a stunner! I just cast on Irene Lin's Lana Vest but sadly, no rest rows ... boo hoo.... but she does such beautifully written patterns that it's all good 🥰
First a get well message for Patrick. I keep hearing him cough at the back. Poor Patrick. Second: below the name 'Karisma' there is a line that says 'a superwash treated wool classic'. I happend to work with this yarn right now. I'm making the 'Norah's vintage Afghan', a free Berroco yarn pattern.
He is getting better thank you!… thank you… I wondered how I could miss such an obvious fact… 🤔…so…I took a look on Ravelry and confirmed.. older labels do not say superwash- just 100% new wool… so now I wonder if they changed the wool(?)… yikes… I could have a 1/2 SW and 1/2 non superwash sweater !😂😂 Eitherway… an adventure!
