"Not being touched" really speaks to the past year for me. I am single & live alone. I've worked through all of the pandemic, I've seen members of my family - but I never really touched another human being since this began. My cousin hugged me last weekend because we are vaccinated. Felt great!
Yeah that was a really powerful and hard hitting scene. The grittiness and realism of the film is shocking and I felt that scene in particular, it was really well acted and emotion. I love so many parts of the film from it's music to it's acting and the cinematography, the writing, the realism and I think it was Barry Jenkins' breakout movie so that's awesome!
I think its pretty sad because I had a past coworker who was like just like that. He recently graduated from high school and was working. He was very nice and smart. One day we're talking about it slips out that he was gay and so we talk about that. But sadly he said of how one time he was chatting with his dad on the topic of gay people ( his dad doesnt know ) and got told by his dad that if he were gay then he'd be disowned. And so now this dude vowed that he would always be single and alone because he didnt want to lose his relationship with his parents

That made me "delay" my coming out by quite a few years. But, when I eventually told him, he asked me why I hadn't told him sooner, so I brought up all the things he had said about "the gays" previously, and he got very quiet. He is really supportive of me since coming out, so I think actually coming out can change some people's perspective, especially when a family member has known you throughout your entire life. But, humans are humans, and some are just fucked up, so you can never be sure! peace and love xx
as an lgbtq peron (who also comes from a black family) this movie provided me with so much comfort in weird way, i guess its just the relatability. the way it was shot and how the story progressed all felt so realistic and personal, i loved it.
The last shot with Kevin cradling Chiron is the definition of “soft”. The moment caught me off guard so much that I was sobbing way too much while watching it in the movie theatre.
As a black gay male, Moonlight really hit me hard. It highlighted all of my insecurities and placed them on film. This movie was so good yet so hurtful that I could only watch it once. Thank you guys for choosing to react to this film. I might go buy some Cinema Rules merch now.
I think the thing I love most about Barry Jenkins's filmmaking is how in tune he is with the emotional experience of his characters. While the writing feels incredibly grounded and not overdramatized, the visual style is a bit more out there, and feels to me more grounded to the character's emotional reality than to objective reality. Truly one of the most empathetic filmmakers I've ever seen.
For me, Moonlight is one of the best movies of the last decades. I can't think of one thing that i would change in this movie. The story, the acting, the cinematography everything is SO good. I love how everything comes together in that last dialogue.
This movie triggers the big sister in me. Never has a movie given me so much anxiety before. Everything in me is screaming to protect Chiron. A true masterpiece.
Also, trivia... Naomie Harris filmed her entire scenes in THREE WHOLE DAYS due to encountering issues with obtaining her visa. I personally would have also awarded her the Oscar that year too, just for the way she said "I'm sorry" to Chiron. Honestly, to be able to portray such a complex and damaged soul and do it with such earnestness... Stunning performance

A beautiful and poignant piece of cinematic poetry. So many boys out there who are broken, lost and discovering themselves whilst living in a cruel world whether it be their social circumstances or the homes they are raised in and this film provides a powerful portrayal of that. The lyrical quality of this film makes it so personal to me, like I am watching my own life flashing in front of my very eyes. Truly touched by your thoughtful takes on "Moonlight." Such an important film, didn't get the proper pomp and circumstance it deserved by having its win undercut by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway's catastropic mistake on Oscar night. You can tell how affecting the film was by how pensive your faces were throughout - really glad you took the time to reflect on this modern masterpiece.
There are other channels with two people doing film reactions, but you two are the best at getting deep into the films like we used to do way back in the day when film was mostly ‘expression’ and we read and discussed everything that was put into a film to illuminate that expression. I just had the same reaction to this as I did when I originally watched Moonlight... the emotion just kept building and it’s not until that very last scene that I started bawling. It's always awesome to see straight guys comfortable with LGBTQ+ stuff. We all, regardless of gender, race, sexuality, etc, go through the same fears, hopes, dreams. He wanted each of them to build their own persona of Chiron during their respective segments, with no influence from the other portrayals. The same technique was used with the actors who play Kevin.
I understand what you’re saying, but have to say I don’t think straight people can understand the fear and hopelessness of being rejected by your family for what you are. They might be able to understand it from an outsider’s POV, but they will never know that very specific horrible feeling.
I love this movie. There were so many moments where I held my breath anticipating what he was going to go through and potential trauma he would have to face. Beautiful film making, just beauiful.
I’d love to see you two watch to Brokeback Mountain at some point. I know it gets a rep for being “the gay cowboy movie” but it’s honestly a really compelling story, and Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal give such great performances in it. It’d be so cool to see your reaction to it.

I watched Chungking Express a little while back. I never rewatched Moonlight cuz of just how heavy it was for me. I will def rewatch the whole thing soon. But just in watching this reaction highlight, I can DEF see that Wong Kar Wai influence
Didn't see this at the movies but purchased the DVD, a very thought provoking movie that makes you think and ponder. Great you guys are viewing different types of movies. I believe in listening to different types of music and the same with movies. This movie was very well done and deserves the nod for an Oscar for best film of 2017. Acting was also outstanding and convincing.
I’m really glad you guys enjoyed this film. I have to say this is the first and really only film dealing with this subject that I really related to the main character. I’ve definitely seen other movies like this, however those always end in tragedy. This one ended with a sense of hope for Chiron. It’s like he was holding his breathe his entire life and by the end of the film he was able to exhale.
I'm still theorizing that Kevin was lying about detention and just wanted to see if Chiron was okay since he probably already knew he was threatened earlier.

This was a pretty masterful piece of artistic filmmaking. I'm a straight black American but these are stories that are rarely told in the American black community. But if you live in a black American community you likely know someone who is gay. So i applaud the storytelling. These are stories that need to be told. I think it's moving, powerful, unsettling in all the right ways, though provoking, I think it's a great piece of art.
Watching you watch this and seeing your reaction gave me hope as a gay person. I’m not black but the lgbtq themes here are deeply personal for me. And seeing you guys get it and react with empathy was a big mood booster for me. The world is changing for the better and you’re part of it! Movies like this are so important. And you just proved that anyone can understand what marginalized ppl experience through the power of film.
I can relate to this movie. I'm a lgbtq+ person I got a lot of hate when I was in high school. And my family are religious so they are not accepting. I came to a few of my friends then 3 years ago I came out to everyone. I've lost some friends and family but I am who I am.

I've seen many of your reactions to action and horror movies (despite being a 63-year old gay man, movies where "things get blowed up real good" are still some of my favourites). Im so glad you guys watched this. I suggest everyone, no matter what demographic, see it if they haven't yet. Its such a beautiful film and it has a "Happy ending" which you can't say happens in a lot of lgbt movies. besides it being a movie about mlm love, there are many other ways to relate to this film like having a tough childhood or falling in love. It definitely deserved Best Picture
just want to comment on the relief i felt when this film ended with a peaceful, hopeful ending. rarely does that happen in lgbt stories not to mention black lgbt ones.
I encourage straight audiences to watch LGBTQ+ movies to broaden their horizons and entertainment options. It goes without saying that gays are certainly a large part of the audience for 'straight' movies, but sadly, very often not the other way round.
Agreed. 100% agreed. There are so MANY LGBTQ+ films that are such great films, but are often overlooked, or scoffed at by some people due to who said films represent, and or subject matter. So great to see Cinema Rules has a broad mindset in that regard.

Such a good movie and was so glad it won best picture (despite the disaster there was giving to it). Also, please just skip Crash and watch the movie that should have won which is Brokeback Mountain.
I really liked your analysis and discussion of the film. You picked up on a lot of its messaging on the first viewing. Moonlight is one of my all-time favourite films. I've seen it a number of times now. It's so complex and layered. Every element, the writing, the directing, the acting, the cinematography, the editing, the musical score, were all just superb. I'm glad it won the Oscar. I was actually lucky enough to be in attendance at a screening of the film at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016 where all of the main cast, the writer, and the director were in attendance for an extended Q&A after. When the film ended, I remember there was this feeling in the room that we had just witnessed something special, it was like this electric feeling. Then, to have all of the cast members immediately come out on stage, what an incredible experience it was. The audience gave them a standing ovation. I relate to this movie pretty heavily. I didn't grow up in a Miami drug environment like Chiron did but I did grow up being constantly bullied for being gay in a small town. The kinds of things that happen to teenage Chiron happened to me so I connected with that part of the film pretty strongly. Watching it the first time was bringing back a lot of painful memories. I remember the writer of the original story, Tarell Alvin McCraney, said that he had originally written it as a play and then Barry Jenkins helped adapt it into a screenplay. Tarell said that he grew up in an environment similar to the one depicted in the film, in 80s Miami, drug addicts, and that he had someone in his life like Juan (Mahershala Ali at the start of the film) to be that father figure for him so that's where that came from in the story. Amazing film, love it so much.
Loved this movie. I was paralyzed in my seat when I saw this in the theater, had to remind myself to breathe at times! It’s so heartbreaking but in the end, I’m happy he finally got his mother’s love (and it’s amazing she performed the different eras of her character in just 3 days!), and reconnected with Kevin. I mentioned this before, but I love that scene at the jukebox where they just look at eachother while listening to the sweet words of the song. 🥰 you could cut the tension with a knife when they were in the car together too. 9/10 from me! That Oscar moment had me sad and happy, I am happy they won (didn’t like La La Land) but wish they had the opportunity to win like everybody else and not feel bad for “taking” it from La La Land.

I was nervous in that third act as well. I kept wondering if things were going to come to an ugly head and Chiron was going to get back at Kevin in some way. I kept hoping that wouldn't happen because a development like that would be counter to what I felt the film was trying to say. But I felt this tension brought about by this less-is-more approach, and I loved that the film unfolded the way it did. Very good film. I'm glad you guys got to see it.
I hope on your Oscar journey you get to Titanic. People love to shit on the film (not really because of the film itself but because of how popular it is--people love to tear down popular things as I'm sure you know). It's a genuinely brilliant piece of filmmaking craft. Love you guys! I'm one of those people who loves this type of film. I realized something during your comments - you mentioned film allows the viewer to see a story from different points if view. This film doesn't do that. It had very few scenes without the main character, and those scenes were all short, and always revolved around him. Maybe that's why it felt so personal. Just a thought.

Check out Ordinary People. Oscar winner. Themes are Mental illness, suicide, sibling rivalry, family dynamics, therapy. The difference between the two films is that Ordinary people deals with an affluent upper middle class family.
When I first watched this movie it literally floored me. By the time I got to the end I was left haunted, their chemistry and non-verbal cues were flawless. La La Land could never😒.
FYI: "Chiron" is unusual as the main character's name, but is not accidental (my guess). It is the name of one of the Greek centaurs who taught the gods and was known for his wisdom. He was betrayed by them and sacrificed in place of another Olympian.
Gotta say, as much as I loved you guys watching and reacting to horror movies, this is the first one that truly captivated me! Loved it, please do more like this with LGBT films! Best one yet Cinema Rules! :D
If you are interested, do some additional research on the writer and the director. They lived in the same neighborhood presented in the film and their lives crossed over in several ways.

I've seen this film so many times, especially that 3rd act. Trevante Rhodes and Andre Holland kill their roles, they had great chemistry! I would have loved for that diner scene to go on for another 20 minutes... I'd gladly watch a whole film of just them! I understand that the film isn't for everyone: it's slow, it's quiet, not a lot technically happens,... but still I've come to realise that it is genuinely my favourite film of all time simply because, although I'm straight and British, I connected to that character so deeply💙

i actually avoided this movie in the theater. im gay and it would hit way too hard. i grew up with the "dont make waves-dont feel emotions- dont get close to people" decades later still fighting that automatic way of being.
First off, I would like to state how stunning this film is. I absolutely loved it and how raw it was. I feel this movie perfectly examines how hard it can be for someone to grow up in an environment that is not accepting of who they are. I really identified with Chiron, especially his relationship with his mother. My mother and I have a strained relationship to put it lightly and I grew up in a household that wasn’t to kind to me, so this aspect of this film hit me like a brick. Throughout this film Chiron is being challenged and confronted with situations that scare him. From the crackhouse in act one to the diner in the final twenty minutes we can see how Chiron’s identity is molded and how it evolves throughout this film. He goes from an innocent boy to hardened drug dealer, with the knowledge that it is all a front to hide who he wants to be. In the end I want to believe that he accepted who he is deep down and decides to stay with Kevin. Overall, this film was incredible, and I believe it is a masterpiece. Moonlight deserves every award it has received, and I give a major applauds to the writers, actors, and everyone who worked on this film because it felt so real, raw, and honest. This is a film I will not forget.
That moment when he hits Terrel is simultaneously the best and worst moment in the movie. Terell finally gets what he fucking deserves, but it alters his life permanently and he gives up on his personality and develops into "the norm"
I usually don't comment on videos, but for this one, i fell like i need to or it ill eat me alive. This movie got me by surprise, as a LGBTQ+ person i got to say that every scene on this hit me like a train, but that table scene destroyed me, cried for hours, barely could end the entire thing, the felling on that scene, where a full grow man tells a young child what being gay is and that it's okay to be so, where he explains that being yourself is not wrong and that the F word is no way to call other people, oh boy, i would do anything to have someone go back in time to tell me that when i was younger, just to be accepted by someone that important on my life, it would have being so much different, i would have loved myself more, this is a emotional experience i think, especially for the people on the characters shoes, and just by this comment i can barely hold my tears back. If there is anyone out there, that stumbles on this comment and needs this, i want you to know, you are valid, loved and i guarantee to you, it gets better, so hold on a little more, don't let anyone get to your head by telling you that you are a monster, a freak or other awful things, loving who you love independent of gender is no crime or sin, doesn't make you bad in anyway. I love all the homages to Wong Kar-Wai. More directors should get their influence from the east, so many amazing films.

The lyrical quality of this film makes it so personal to me, like I am watching my own life flashing in front of my very eyes. Truly touched by your thoughtful takes on "Moonlight." Such an important film, didn't get the proper pomp and circumstance it deserved by having its win undercut by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway's catastropic mistake on Oscar night. You can tell how affecting the film was by how pensive your faces were throughout - really glad you took the time to reflect on this modern masterpiece.

There are other channels with two people doing film reactions, but you two are the best at getting deep into the films like we used to do way back in the day when film was mostly ‘expression’ and we read and discussed everything that was put into a film to illuminate that expression. this movie so emotional like my heart wrenches. The acting is so well done you can see the complexity. very realistic of a part of the black community as well. Very amazing to have a black lgbt film to even be done seriously in general and also to win the oscars.
I just had the same reaction to this as I did when I originally watched Moonlight... the emotion just kept building and it’s not until that very last scene that I started bawling.

He wanted each of them to build their own persona of Chiron during their respective segments, with no influence from the other portrayals. The same technique was used with the actors who play Kevin.
I understand what you’re saying, but have to say I don’t think straight people can understand the fear and hopelessness of being rejected by your family for what you are. They might be able to understand it from an outsider’s POV, but they will never know that very specific horrible feeling.

I love this movie. There were so many moments where I held my breath anticipating what he was going to go through and potential trauma he would have to face. Beautiful film making, just beauiful.
I’d love to see you two watch to Brokeback Mountain at some point. I know it gets a rep for being “the gay cowboy movie” but it’s honestly a really compelling story, and Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal give such great performances in it. It’d be so cool to see your reaction to it.

I watched Chungking Express a little while back. I never rewatched Moonlight cuz of just how heavy it was for me. I will def rewatch the whole thing soon. But just in watching this reaction highlight, I can DEF see that Wong Kar Wai influence
Didn't see this at the movies but purchased the DVD, a very thought provoking movie that makes you think and ponder. Great you guys are viewing different types of movies. I believe in listening to different types of music and the same with movies. This movie was very well done and deserves the nod for an Oscar for best film of 2017. Acting was also outstanding and convincing.
I’m really glad you guys enjoyed this film. I have to say this is the first and really only film dealing with this subject that I really related to the main character. I’ve definitely seen other movies like this, however those always end in tragedy. This one ended with a sense of hope for Chiron. It’s like he was holding his breathe his entire life and by the end of the film he was able to exhale.

Yayy!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I saw this film when it first came out, and it has stayed with me ever since. It's truly beautiful, from the way it looks to the story, and I can see it becoming a classic over time, especially in queer cinema.
As an lesbian growing up in the 80's and 90's, this film wouldn't be considered at all by straight ppl, so it is so awesome to watch you guys watching this with respect, understanding and humanity. This was a pretty masterful piece of artistic filmmaking. I'm a straight black American but these are stories that are rarely told in the American black community. But if you live in a black American community you likely know someone who is gay. So i applaud the storytelling. These are stories that need to be told. I think it's moving, powerful, unsettling in all the right ways, though provoking, I think it's a great piece of art.

Watching you watch this and seeing your reaction gave me hope as a gay person. I’m not black but the lgbtq themes here are deeply personal for me. And seeing you guys get it and react with empathy was a big mood booster for me. The world is changing for the better and you’re part of it! Movies like this are so important. And you just proved that anyone can understand what marginalized ppl experience through the power of film.
I can relate to this movie. I'm a lgbtq+ person I got a lot of hate when I was in high school. And my family are religious so they are not accepting. I came to a few of my friends then 3 years ago I came out to everyone. I've lost some friends and family but I am who I am.

You guys really touched me with your reaction (and I haven't even seen the damn movie!) Your complete lack of even (what I call) "involuntary homophobia" (flinching at certain words, types of discussions, imagery) let alone anything even remotely resembling toxic masculinity is heart-warming. I've seen many of your reactions to action and horror movies (despite being a 63-year old gay man, movies where "things get blowed up real good" are still some of my favourites). Im so glad you guys watched this. I suggest everyone, no matter what demographic, see it if they haven't yet. Its such a beautiful film and it has a "Happy ending" which you can't say happens in a lot of lgbt movies. besides it being a movie about mlm love, there are many other ways to relate to this film like having a tough childhood or falling in love. It definitely deserved Best Picture
just want to comment on the relief i felt when this film ended with a peaceful, hopeful ending. rarely does that happen in lgbt stories not to mention black lgbt ones.

I encourage straight audiences to watch LGBTQ+ movies to broaden their horizons and entertainment options. It goes without saying that gays are certainly a large part of the audience for 'straight' movies, but sadly, very often not the other way round.

I really liked your analysis and discussion of the film. You picked up on a lot of its messaging on the first viewing. Moonlight is one of my all-time favourite films. I've seen it a number of times now. It's so complex and layered. Every element, the writing, the directing, the acting, the cinematography, the editing, the musical score, were all just superb. I'm glad it won the Oscar.
I was actually lucky enough to be in attendance at a screening of the film at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016 where all of the main cast, the writer, and the director were in attendance for an extended Q&A after. When the film ended, I remember there was this feeling in the room that we had just witnessed something special, it was like this electric feeling. Then, to have all of the cast members immediately come out on stage, what an incredible experience it was. The audience gave them a standing ovation. I relate to this movie pretty heavily. I didn't grow up in a Miami drug environment like Chiron did but I did grow up being constantly bullied for being gay in a small town. The kinds of things that happen to teenage Chiron happened to me so I connected with that part of the film pretty strongly. Watching it the first time was bringing back a lot of painful memories. I remember the writer of the original story, Tarell Alvin McCraney, said that he had originally written it as a play and then Barry Jenkins helped adapt it into a screenplay. Tarell said that he grew up in an environment similar to the one depicted in the film, in 80s Miami, drug addicts, and that he had someone in his life like Juan (Mahershala Ali at the start of the film) to be that father figure for him so that's where that came from in the story. Amazing film, love it so much.
Loved this movie. I was paralyzed in my seat when I saw this in the theater, had to remind myself to breathe at times! It’s so heartbreaking but in the end, I’m happy he finally got his mother’s love (and it’s amazing she performed the different eras of her character in just 3 days!), and reconnected with Kevin. I mentioned this before, but I love that scene at the jukebox where they just look at eachother while listening to the sweet words of the song. 🥰 you could cut the tension with a knife when they were in the car together too. 9/10 from me!
That Oscar moment had me sad and happy, I am happy they won (didn’t like La La Land) but wish they had the opportunity to win like everybody else and not feel bad for “taking” it from La La Land.
This is one of my favorite films. The masterfully gorgeous filmmaking technique, acting, editing, and the list goes on make this a tremendously special movie.

I’ve really enjoyed watching your videos, and I was so excited to see this movie on your list of movies that you’ve watched and reviewed. I thought this movie was incredible especially in the way it made you feel like you were Chiron and reliving life through his eyes. Looking at the cards he was dealt in life and feeling so alone except for Juan, Teresa and Kevin.

I was nervous in that third act as well. I kept wondering if things were going to come to an ugly head and Chiron was going to get back at Kevin in some way. I kept hoping that wouldn't happen because a development like that would be counter to what I felt the film was trying to say. But I felt this tension brought about by this less-is-more approach, and I loved that the film unfolded the way it did. Very good film. I'm glad you guys got to see it.
I hope on your Oscar journey you get to Titanic. People love to shit on the film (not really because of the film itself but because of how popular it is--people love to tear down popular things as I'm sure you know). It's a genuinely brilliant piece of filmmaking craft. The scale is incredible, the sets, the costumes, the score, the cinematography...it's a feast to view truly.As for this reaction, brilliant as always. It's such a wonderful movie. I have only seen it originally at the local arthouse theater. Just started watching the reaction and wonder if it will make either of you cry.
Love you guys! I'm one of those people who loves this type of film. I realized something during your comments - you mentioned film allows the viewer to see a story from different points if view. This film doesn't do that. It had very few scenes without the main character, and those scenes were all short, and always revolved around him. Maybe that's why it felt so personal. Just a thought.

I’d love to know what ya’lls thoughts are on the movie Requiem For A Dream cause that’s one I want to see and it’s one that’s studied in film schools but it’s also VERY dark and VERY depressing and I liked watching a lot of these movies on this channel with you guys!
Check out Ordinary People. Oscar winner. Themes are Mental illness, suicide, sibling rivalry, family dynamics, therapy. The difference between the two films is that Ordinary people deals with an affluent upper middle class family.
When I first watched this movie it literally floored me. By the time I got to the end I was left haunted, their chemistry and non-verbal cues were flawless. La La Land could never😒.
FYI: "Chiron" is unusual as the main character's name, but is not accidental (my guess). It is the name of one of the Greek centaurs who taught the gods and was known for his wisdom. He was betrayed by them and sacrificed in place of another Olympian.
Gotta say, as much as I loved you guys watching and reacting to horror movies, this is the first one that truly captivated me! Loved it, please do more like this with LGBT films! Best one yet Cinema Rules! :D

I've seen this film so many times, especially that 3rd act. Trevante Rhodes and Andre Holland kill their roles, they had great chemistry! I would have loved for that diner scene to go on for another 20 minutes... I'd gladly watch a whole film of just them!
I understand that the film isn't for everyone: it's slow, it's quiet, not a lot technically happens,... but still I've come to realise that it is genuinely my favourite film of all time simply because, although I'm straight and British, I connected to that character so deeply💙

i actually avoided this movie in the theater. im gay and it would hit way too hard. i grew up with the "dont make waves-dont feel emotions- dont get close to people" decades later still fighting that automatic way of being.
First off, I would like to state how stunning this film is. I absolutely loved it and how raw it was. I feel this movie perfectly examines how hard it can be for someone to grow up in an environment that is not accepting of who they are. I really identified with Chiron, especially his relationship with his mother. My mother and I have a strained relationship to put it lightly and I grew up in a household that wasn’t to kind to me, so this aspect of this film hit me like a brick.
Throughout this film Chiron is being challenged and confronted with situations that scare him. From the crackhouse in act one to the diner in the final twenty minutes we can see how Chiron’s identity is molded and how it evolves throughout this film. He goes from an innocent boy to hardened drug dealer, with the knowledge that it is all a front to hide who he wants to be. In the end I want to believe that he accepted who he is deep down and decides to stay with Kevin.
Overall, this film was incredible, and I believe it is a masterpiece. Moonlight deserves every award it has received, and I give a major applauds to the writers, actors, and everyone who worked on this film because it felt so real, raw, and honest. This is a film I will not forget.

That moment when he hits Terrel is simultaneously the best and worst moment in the movie. Terell finally gets what he fucking deserves, but it alters his life permanently and he gives up on his personality and develops into "the norm"
I usually don't comment on videos, but for this one, i fell like i need to or it ill eat me alive. This movie got me by surprise, as a LGBTQ+ person i got to say that every scene on this hit me like a train, but that table scene destroyed me, cried for hours, barely could end the entire thing, the felling on that scene, where a full grow man tells a young child what being gay is and that it's okay to be so, where he explains that being yourself is not wrong and that the F word is no way to call other people, oh boy, i would do anything to have someone go back in time to tell me that when i was younger, just to be accepted by someone that important on my life, it would have being so much different, i would have loved myself more, this is a emotional experience i think, especially for the people on the characters shoes, and just by this comment i can barely hold my tears back.
If there is anyone out there, that stumbles on this comment and needs this, i want you to know, you are valid, loved and i guarantee to you, it gets better, so hold on a little more, don't let anyone get to your head by telling you that you are a monster, a freak or other awful things, loving who you love independent of gender is no crime or sin, doesn't make you bad in anyway.
