This long-series has been divided into 3 parts, each of these evolves around individual story lines and denotes a separate phase. Every part is complete in itself, yet, together they form a coherent whole. The story is set in the Sung Dynasty, when the KAM and YUEN(Mongolian) monarchy are both invading South.YEUNG and KWOK are two sworn brothers. They are living together, and both of their wives are now pregnant. Their assistance to YAU, a Taoist priest, in fighting against the KAM army unfolds the tragic fate befallen them. The KAM PRINCE falls for the beauty of Mrs. YEUNG at his first sight. In order to have her as his wife, he must do away with YEUNG and KWOK. KWOK is killed and his wife is lucky to have escaped to Mongolia, and there in the desert she gives birth to her son CHING. YEUNG is missing and his wife marries the PRINCE. But she never realizes that he is the actual murderer. Before long, she also gives birth to a boy named HONG. YAU is stunned at the news. He vows to take care of their dependents. On his way back, he meets with the ‘SEVEN GROTESQUES’. They only have some arguments but soon break into a fight. Their fight comes to an even. Both parties agree that each should be finding the descendants of either KWOK and YEUNG to teach them Kung-fu. Then, eighteen years later, they will be having another duel to decide who is the better.
