Favorite parts were... 1) when Crowley is looking up in the garden of Eden and then turns to look at Az. Beautifully drawn ee 2) The shot of Crowley walking into the church with the blue silhouette 3) Zira's reaction timed with the gasp in the audio when Crowley handed over the books * chefs kiss * freakin adorable 4) THE SCENES FRAMED IN CROWLEY'S GLASSES FOLLOWED BY TEARS SEEPING PAST THE LENSES MY HEART- anyway this is long but you did awesome! :D
Oh my goodness best comment ever, thank you! I had the same reaction to the song when I heard it (it was on some random good omens playlist lol) was on a long drive and just started drawing some frames. Evidently it turned into this, but I’m so glad you enjoyed it ;)
Excellent animation in this! I loved the scene transitions, especially the snake movements, and the timing was very well done. I particularly liked the lining up of the gasp in the music and Aziraphale receiving his book bag. I think the style of sort of paper cut outs with crayon-esque lines in separating places is very well suited to this story, especially given the whole Bible connection. The colours were simple, and very effective. My only (minor) gripe is, why did everyone have incredibly dramatic cat-eye winged eyeliner? This just kind of confused me, as that's not at all similar to the make up they were wearing for the vast majority of the show, the only time I can remember Crowley wearing such dramatic make-up is when they were living as the nanny. They would have no dramatic eyeliner in one shot, and then in the next one, suddenly there it is. Is that just how you draw all eyes, or was it a specific artistic choice in this instance?
