@ccbc23 I was just reading this comment when the song was about to start, i was thinking "these keyboards sound very day and age :/" then the drumming and brandons singing kicked in and i instantly thought Sam's town :D
@evaedelreal They're not touring, they're in the studio, this show was one day before Hard Rock Calling, they were line-up. There's a show at Orlando Calling in November this year too, in Florida.
I'm gonna sound like such an idiot. But I WAS a "casual" fan. But recently I've gotten really into them :D I read they went on hiatus and felt shit all day, just read further, turns out the new album comes out next year :) I am now happy (Y)
I really don't see how Day & Age is bad, all the songs have powerful meanings like Goodnight, Travel well, but I think personally Sam's Town is the best album by far!! but Battle Born is just as good,
I love the killers, Sam's town in my favourite album, followed Hot Fuss, I did like D&A but it was a little slow and uninteresting with some exceptions. However I don't think the Killers are likely to spawn anymore classics akin to Mr.Brightside, Somebody Told Me and All These Thing's That I've Done. All their very well known stuff is from Hot Fuss and the lyrics incepted into people's heads, its lovely :) But seriously I want more Killers songs similar to what was in their first 2 albums XD
@LordKombox yes i do get very confused but theres one thing im not confused about : the killers. you obviously dont like them that much if you said that about them , all i can say is that i hope u'll come around and see how amazing their other songs are , because they are the killers they cant write bad songs , i have hope for u yet
@misszotee Not even all the killers are fond of all their songs. Brandon isn't too fond about hot fuss I know. Thats why they changed alot. They wanted to take music more seriously.
That's like saying it's a matter of opinion that The Beatles' songwriting got better between Please Please Me and Abbey Road. Or that it's a matter of opinion that Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall were better than any albums Pink Floyd had previously released.
@LordKombox i called you a kid , thats what i meant , and isnt u asking me how old i am a little bit weird . Not every every song is original , especially covers :)( pml) type in songs that sound the same and u will find a whole new world of non-origonal songs , PLUS lets be honest most crappy pop songs in todays world sound the same. And all the killers lyrics are very clever, so much so that u have to listen to work out what its abut , which is partly what the killers wanted from their songs
sam town is the first the killers album i listen, and i think that is fuckin amazing then i start to love the killers. then i listen hot fuss, hot fuss is good but i like sam town more. and day & age i dont like most, some of the songs like neon tiger i think is suck and this time, i think battle born is not bad
@LordKombox I prefer the melancholy brit-rock style of Hot Fuss, but to each his own. Sam's Town had some great songs, but I never liked the cheesy wannabe-Springsteen thing... & outside of "Spaceman", I found Day & Age to be pretty weak. "Human" is one of the most ridiculous songs I've ever heard... and while some Hot Fuss tracks like "Somebody Told Me" are silly, at least you got the sense that they were having fun & they knew how campy/absurd the lyrics were.
How can you say hot fuss is american? Thats the album that got labeled them the best british band from america....it has way more european influences than sam's town which is straight western
@ThePoopcornMachine Sam's Town was very good. Day & Age, outside of Spaceman was pretty abysmal IMO. Hot Fuss just had a certain energy that I don't think they have been able to match. They sacrificed their poignant, introspective lyrics for pure cheese.
SAM'S TOWN is definitily the best killers album, every tracks is very beautiful except for uncle johnny e my list... I don't like very much hot fuss, imo is too "american" but I love ATTTID... and D&A after some listening become boring. undoubtedly my favourite songs are for reasons unknown and spaceman
@misszotee You're just nuts if you think me saying "they can make a meh song if they want to" is a mean or unrealistic thing to say. How old are you? No thinking person can deal in absolutes when it comes to things like this. Of course every song has originality. Why? Because its an original song
@LordKombox if you kew the killers well then you would know the killers are generally modest , not "bull shit modesty" as brandon calls it , but genuine modesty. Also if you were a true fan you wouldnt say mean things about them real fans sees the real magic in each song ; each song has a spark of originality and their own personalities and your would hear how amazing and clever the lyrics are also the killers like controversy and you basically agreeing with them isn't very controversial - kid
Its all been downhill since Sam's Town (and this is coming from someone who loves Day and Age). Have you heard Brandon Flower's solo album Flamingo? I think it comes close to his Sam's Town level of songwriting, you'd probably like it. :)
Wuuuuw there i'm all for day and age but Hot Fuss was much better.. On Top? Change your mind? I'd take the simple sound of HF over the day and age sound any day... But yea sams town will always be the best.
the rising of the mysteries of the cold war theory of atomic bomb theory we cannot stop the rising tide of tensions around the world if the could ward before between U.S.S.R. and Americans did not escalate at all but the atomic bomb theory of Iran could escalate what didn't happened before because of more const rents on both side but we are now to believed that we are in the border line of atomic age of war engagement at all just the beginnings that was broadcast around the world in music
HOLY FUCK I FEEL THE SAME WAY. I honestly believe Sam's Town is a better album than Hot Fuss, concept wise and everything. Day and Age is also better than Hot Fuss.
DAy/Age was not a bad album. Human?Spaceman? I can't stay? Wait for something better? THe list goes on.......And Flamingo had some good tracks too CrossFire? Only the Young? People need to quit being so judge mental! Its like saying well Adele her next album better be happy compared to he suicide music from 21. All her songs are ballads and suicide. She has great vocals!!!
All the hot fuss songs sounded the same, and most had no worthy meaning to them. Sam's Town was..... honestly it seemed confused in a way... I'm not a big fan of it's style but I liked the few good sings in it better than I did Mr. Brightside or any of that. Day and Age was my favorite album. I loved most all the songs but Goodnight, travel well and Joy Ride were shameful..
Excellent voice, synths & guitar. This first live version is incredible.
King of live
Oh, My, GOSH! A NEW SONG! I. AM. SO. STOKED!!!!
words cant define my feeling atm
They Changed the lyrics for the album version, this version is much better.
Great video, amazing quality! Thank you so much for uploading! :D
i love you brandon!
This is like Hot Fuss
@LordKombox To each his own. The Killers are still one of the best bands out there IMO. Though I agree with you that Joy Ride was shameful lol.
Conclusion... Hot Fuss, Sam's Town and Day and Age and the next, Battle Born will be the best albums!!!!
@ccbc23 I was just reading this comment when the song was about to start, i was thinking "these keyboards sound very day and age :/" then the drumming and brandons singing kicked in and i instantly thought Sam's town :D
@Church106 i agree , hes my fave singer but i would love a better performance to be able to listen to again and again
I don't get the people who say this is like Day & Age, to me this is pure Sam's Town. :)
@evaedelreal They're not touring, they're in the studio, this show was one day before Hard Rock Calling, they were line-up. There's a show at Orlando Calling in November this year too, in Florida.

pls tell me what kinda camera u used! quality is so great!!! he is so beautiful!!
I like that one album where Brandon Flowers does vocals and he sings those songs. You know?
Wow, great quality. What camera do you use?
you left out dustland fairytale...one of the best on that album. And flamingo had welcome to fabulous las vegas and swallow it. both awesome.
if the killers don't do any intimate warm up gigs in London this year i may have to cut my own gollies off!
@LordKombox yes i do get very confused but theres one thing im not confused about : the killers. you obviously dont like them that much if you said that about them , all i can say is that i hope u'll come around and see how amazing their other songs are , because they are the killers they cant write bad songs , i have hope for u yet
We need some catchy rifts in this song then it'll be perfect, well that and Brandon tune himself XD
Mr Brandon Flowers, for my side, you can cheat as much as you need reading lyrics!! Jajajajaja!!!!
Wait what? Get a grip, Uncle Jonny and My List are stunning songs!
And by the way, Sam's Town is much more "American" than Hot Fuss.
@Church106 with a hint of Hot fuss, and Sawdust
I wish they would make more songs in the style of Hot Fuss...
Oops...I should have wrote "downhill after Sam's Town", because obviously I think Sam's Town is the best. :)
@LordKombox i called you a kid , thats what i meant , and isnt u asking me how old i am a little bit weird . @shuttterbabe the sound leaves a little to be desired though. hmmmm....
sam town is the first the killers album i listen, and i think that is fuckin amazing then i start to love the killers.
then i listen hot fuss, hot fuss is good but i like sam town more. and day & age i dont like most, some of the songs like neon tiger i think is suck

What about Dustland? Just asking
wait, so they're on tour now? or why are they playing together? answers?
@LordKombox im defending the killers so im not waisting my time , i win :)
That seems like a matter of opinion breh
@mook5555
I wish people would get over Hot Fuss and admit that Sam's Town and Day and Age were infinitely better albums.
@Smallville357 bahahahahahahahahaahahah its Sam
God he looks much better without that facial hair he had during the Sams Town tour lol
everythanng is coming out now. Incubus first, the chili peppers, the end of the month blink 182, and soon the killers im guessing.
@misszotee You're just nuts if you think me saying "they can make a meh song if they want to" is a mean or unrealistic thing to say. How old are you? No thinking person can deal in absolutes when it comes to things like this. Of course every song has originality. Why? Because its an original song
Get rid of the high sustained vocals and this'll be pretty good!
@LordKombox if you kew the killers well then you would know the killers are generally modest , not "bull shit modesty" as brandon calls it , but genuine modesty. @mook5555 hell no, that was the worst album they made.
@LordKombox wow thats a mean thing to say , the killers don't like mean people
All the hot fuss songs sounded the same, and most had no worthy meaning to them.

@misszotee Sorry, I just can't let myself waste more time with you. You're being ridiculously flippant.
Sam's Town was maybe equal but also good. And Day and Age is terrible. I love the killers but I hate that album.
