When I was 17 years old, I discovered Bruce Springsteen & E Steet band. It started with the River, and I moved backward to Greetings from Ashbury Park and then Steel Mill. I had all the available bootlegs, and it never ceases to amaze me how much happiness and musicality this gave me. Since I will soon turn 60, I can't change my mind: I will die with Bruce Springsteen as my definition of how to express happiness. But, God, Katzenjammer is extremely close.

Hello I'm from the UK, but out of there for over 50 of my 80 years. I was in Germany and missed Katzenjammer during the wonderful concerts of the uniquely lovely Katzenjammer, something I will regret for the rest of my life. Thank you U-Tube for making possible the nearest thing to reality that I can imagine. And thank you forever Katzenjammer, a team of top musicians who have portrayed their love and expertise in music that no other group has come near to achieving. You have given me years of pleasure, in particular your concerts in Hamburg. I hope you are all happy in your lives all these years after. I'm more than happy to have access to your talented personalities. I play you often and never tire of you all. What a wonderful group based as it is on good music -AND FUN!!!
I knew a couple of songs before watching the video, wasn't aware of the fact they all play all the instruments seamlessly. And God, their energy, their passion... They have freaking FUN every single minute they are on stage. This is MUSIC at the heart.

I have only discovered this band tonight and I never knew that they existed before this, now I discover that they have gone their separate ways, what great musicians they are and I hope they didn’t have an acrimonious break up as I would love to see them perform together again someday.
If they ever do another tour go see then. Had the pleasure seeing them live twice and the energy is just amazing. Sure, their performance is not flawless but the So Much Fun on stage....

this is my favorite of my newly discovered bands, i probably found them about a year ago on Pandora, and I've loved every minute of music i've listened to from them ever since.
This is simply fantastic! I love how they can do vibrant songs with amazing melodys. Also each song of them has kind of an identity, it's not like some artists who repeat the same formula over and over again!
Anybody else a little more than upset that they don't really tour in the US, and when they do it's not near you? What an amazing band, in a time when we need great music more than ever.

The lungs on the girl who's singing Bar in Amsterdam is ridiculous..! How do you go from playing the trumpet, to shouting into the mic and somehow have enough breath to immediately transition to singing normally?
I think i am in a paradox. I have been a fan a few years before they broke up. It made me really sad when they did! Now when i need cheering up i play this and i feel good, after a while i feel sad because they broke up, and stop watching, then months later i feel down so start watching them again and the whole thing starts again. Bugger!

I must have watched this show 10 times at least simply because the sound mixing on most of the others are so bad it's practically unwatchable. One I watched I couldn't hear the piano at all. This is probably once of the best mixed shows of any band I have ever seen. Outstanding work.

On the 10th Anniversary tour, just finished last week, these amazing musicians played a two hour show. They continue to grow and amaze. As i told them after the very first show i saw, before they were famous, i felt as if i had just seen the Beatles in Hamburg, only this time they were four women. Enjoy, und vielen Dank Martin...
I don't even consider this to be "art" as most musicians do today - a sterile interpretation of music. These ladies exude joy in what they do, they handle well the instruments they take turns with. Totally awesome. I'm just sorry that many years ago they performed in my city at a festival where I was and I was just at another performance on another stage.

They always show brilliant skill, Girls always respect the viewer, unlike many rock and blues musicians who think that the musical texture itself can replace their responsibility and musical intuition. I am a lucky nearly 80yrs old who has watched the early sixties Beatles and Stones right through till these present days. Nostalgia in each ten year period which I hope never to forget. I am a lucky nearly 80yrs old who has watched the early sixties Beatles and Stones right through till these present days. Nostalgia in each ten year period which I hope never to forget. Regrets yes but
the reality is we have been the lucky recipients of all these periods. I say enjoy it while it's at it's best and hope your memory hold out. I'm a lucky boy with a vast memory of the last sixty years of great and changing music; --for which I thank the world and the technology which has progressively aided me to gain access to it. happy listening, Jack.
