Good job of explaining all that is going on. For the new folks into cuckoo clocks they are going to need you to zoom in on the parts that you are describing. I tend to work behind my camera and try to view the camera as I am working. Because if I can see it in the camera then my audience should be able to see it on the screen. That for me is the hardest part about doing these videos is so others can see what is going on. Keep it up. Looking forward to seeing the next video on this. Which BTW you should change the title to add "Part 1 of ???". Thanks for the shout out at the end. May God continue to bless you with your videos.
Well it is going to be renamed 1 of 2, because I have to work on it today. The chain ran out while the music man was trying to play. So it sat there until morning for me to wind it. Now he makes a terrible grinding noise. We know what that probably is. My little plastic wheel bit the dust. We'll see. I hope not.
The music board should be either nailed or screwed from the roof to hold the board in place. As for the Snail, when the lever drops for the hour count. It might be best for the lever to drop in the middle of the 12:00 space. Other than that, you have done a great job explaining what is suppose to be happening. Thanks for the shout out at them end. God Bless.
@@cheryladair732 I have never seen them unattached. You should see small holes on the top of the roof for the nails. Mark had a video that showed him using a thin wire to line up the nail holes. I would just push it all the way in and put nails back in. Just make sure they are long enough to go through the roof and into the platform.

Have you had to attach the music board or do they come that way?

Regarding the music platform, I use screws, much more gentle on everything, & easy to remove next time.
I still haven't attached it to anything. I'm going to make one more video about it first.
