I just read Docechii's Rolling Stone article, and she made this mixtape in less than 2 months! She was able to submit the album to the Grammies because the deadline is August 30th. This is a necessary reset for men and women in rap. Other than TDE artists, the men and women of rap are making the same music. Doechhii is an amazing performer. I have seen her open for Doja Cat, and it felt like we had two headliners. I also got her a T-shirt. I agree with Sesali. We need to go to the small artists' concert and buy their merch. Bree Runway and JNOA are the only non-mainstream rappers that are on Doechhii's level. Blk Odyssy is the only non-mainstream man that is making amazing music in rap, hip-hop, funk, and rock.

so i was a fan of doechii during the time that she was dating her ex boyfriend. so he’s actually now openly bi - i think after that, doechii accepted him and they stayed together but then i think she got her lick back and then dumped him lol. he’s also a rapper as well as is on her ‘Bra-less’ EP. ⏰ 🫖 but yes they’re both openly bi but i don’t think he was until doechii found out.
