Hello, I have just seen your videos, they are superb. What an incredible quantity of fish. I'll be at Dolmsundet Marina in July 2024, and I hope to do some great fishing like you. I'm diving to 15 meters, do you think that's enough to find nice fish? And where can I find scallops? Thank you for your answer. With kind regards. Michel from France
Hi, Thanks a lot for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. 15 meters is plenty. In Norway, most fish are found quite high in the water column, typically around 8-12m. Regarding scallops, we didn't have a lot of luck in Hitra, but we did also not look for them specifically. From what I've been told, they can often be found on sand banks below 10 meters in areas, where there is a bit of current. I'm sure you will have a great time when visiting Hitra. Best of luck.
Hello, very nice Video! Awesome stuff :) 2. questions about the Video: 1. What is coming out of that pipe on the floating plattform? 2. I thought the name of the black and silver with white side line is "coalfish" ? you named it Pollock?
Hi, Thanks a lot for the positive feedback. What is coming out of the pipe is mainly crap shells from a local seafood factory close by. It is a pretty famous spot to dive in at Hitra. Regarding the species of the fish, I'm actually not completely sure, but both types are closely related and members of the Pollachius genus.
Ser ut som dere jakter ved utløpet fra en fiskeforedlingsbedrift. Vet ikke hvor lurt det er. Ved oppdrettsanlegg er det vel ikke tillat. Torsken ser ut til å ha spist litt for mye.
My favorite place, even the same room, nice catch, bravo
Another great vídeo, bravo 👍👍👍

Det er ikke et oppdrett, men en krabbefabrik 😊
