No matter how many other content creators make videos of Case interview examples, Victor still has the best "one size fits all" approaches. Today I had a McKinsey case which started straight of the bat with the question whether or not to Merge. I remembered this video and improvised starting from the Business Situation Framework and worked my way to the actual Merger's & Acquisitions fit framework. It worked perfectly well.
Glad it worked out well. The secret is my material really aren't case interview frameworks. They are actually client engagement frameworks. I use variations of these frameworks every week whenever I'm speaking with a new CEO that's contemplating a particular major decision.
@@arezoomasoud3646 There are several different cases, depending on the department you want to work for and the interviewer that conducts the case with you. You cant plan only to learn M&A cases in order to be safe for a case study at EY (or any other consultancy). I hope this helps
Great work Sir. This video is pure practical and helpful. I had no money to buy LOMS, but i feel your workshop gives all I need. I have my interviews Friday at McK in Wroclaw, Poland. Wish me luck;). All the best to You.
I believe the business case could have gone a little faster if, when getting the insight of Digital Marketing was growing, we had asked if O&O also offered this kind of product. We could have jumped to the product section of the FW and realized we´re not part of a new market trend which is growing. THEN I would have jumped to the customer section and asked about the Mkt Size, Segmentation, ando who OUR main clients are... and the story goes on...
Thank you. Quick thought. Would it be possible to have subtitles during the questions being asked by the audience? Some answers seemed very insightful but I missed the question.
I guess the subtitles are generated by UA-cam, not by the video author. Therefore, since the question seems to be unintelligible, there's no way UA-cam can generate it.
Thanks very much Victor for these great videos. I think however, the segmentation Global Ad agency / Direct Response / Digital Ads / Media Buying is rather a product type than competition segmentation, isn't it? Just to make sure I'm not getting confused. Thanks again for your great work !
Hi Victor, After watching your video with Porter Gale I was inspired to take that advice quite seriously. I now have an opportunity to meet with a Deloitte Principal for lunch. I will make sure to know as much about the firm as possible, and be prepared to answer questions about cases. But I was wondering if you could provide me with any specific advice on how to stand out. I have an opportunity to make an impression and feel that you can help me get there. Thanks so much!
When we talk about customers, are we focusing only on the customers for digital advertising? Also, what do we mean by "share of spending"? The percentage of the budget that this customers are spending on digital advertising?
One thing I have learnt watching Victor speak is there is no end to one's imagination as to how much it can pile on! It's been a disappointing experience and I felt like time wasted.
You seem to be stuck in your presentation on few thoughts, may it's time for you to watch these videos to improve upon delivering more value to the audience.

Just got a job at EY! Thanks so much for the advice!
I am actually watching these videos to prepare for a possible interview at EY! Hopefully, I have the same result as you.
Great to hear! Hope you get it :)

Did you get it...?
The whole story covered! Fantastic, thank you, Mr Cheng.
What I've learned from the media examples is that they are particularly tough.

victor -- thanks for the videos -- very informative. In which video do you discuss "Supply Demand " type case interviews?

And thank you for the videos!
Hello Mr Victor,
How do you think I can practice your frameworks if I don't have company??
What is the global ad agency - is it all of the above (media buy / direct response / digital ads) ?
Hi Victor,
Thank you for posting this video.
Where can I find that 5-page handout?
Cheers
Hi Francisco, see the comments on videos #1 to #3 in the series. There are links to the handouts there.
Interesting, highly recommended
Does anyone have notes from this lecture...
Why did you assume that Advertising Expenses should be analyzed to improve profitability??
Thanks for the tip, I did not know that.
best job , best salary..

Awesome, thank you so much.........
Thanks Much :)
Such a stalwart, coming to a session without preparation and making up stuff on the fly. Very disappointed.
You got what you paid for right?
