dude that first game...I was like damn they're so good they completely rolled them. Then I saw they were gold players and I felt so bad for them... they had no chance :( Good on them for not giving up though
I don't think you should feel bad for them. A team at that SR had to know that they'd get rolled in the tournament and probably joined with the intent to get to play against players that they idolize which they did. They probably got exactly what the expected.

TBH, I'd get in a tournament like this just for the replay. I'd get absolutely rolled, but just being able to take notes from a replay against me would be huge.

These fights are almost systematic... PD, Gorilla jump and tickle gun, Anti-nade, fight win. Its beautiful.

My team is low diamond and we can actually pull this off fairly often. We pair it with echo for easy bombs and a character which is great at killing heroes at half or less health and a tracer for cleaning up what's left. I call it easy dive since it relies more on the pre-fight staging rather than the process and coordination once it starts.
yeah it was so clean
The problem is that it’s very much a pub stomp comp that wins for free against less skilled players. You win, but don’t get practice at the comps required to win in subsequent games. The last matches make that blatantly obvious when they start struggling theorizing a counter comp and playstyle... first and third match were effectively predetermined, not unlike how Shock has strats for winning certain modes and maps
@@63Dayton36 It definitely is a weaker comp higher up, but could be seen as a beginner dive or way to learn dive positioning and communication prior to doing more pure dive comps.

Boy, how I ever miss the good ol’ days of 6v6, when most of Overwatch was way better than it is nowadays. Blizzard really went full P2W and killed their game, as well as diminished their fan-base EXTREMELY. Good memories, from a once great game, now turned into a terrible, money-thirsty cash grab.

That first game was just a team of people who had to play against the people that they probably watched on the UA-cam tutorials. That’s like if a white belt sparred with his sensei, and the sensei fucking beats him to death. It was horrific. 😂
