Finally! I have been looking and hoping that someone finally makes the Higashikata Melon Parfait. It sounds so basic yet in concept yet, sounds really damn delicious. A fruity parfait that changes in flavor and texture with each dig of your spoon. I'd absolutely pay whatever it costs at the Higashikata Fruit Parlor.
Everything was going great until the assembly 😤 it’s made with the spoon IN it so when you take it out to eat, it brings stuff from the bottom up and you get a beautiful slight mix of flavours
@@cherie..cherry I tried looking for it before, iirc I think they might actually be a take on Chinese Yuan Xiao/Tang Yuan dumplings. They normally use sugar but I assume you can replace that with honey. I found a recipe here on youtube by CiCi Li, just search "Yuan Xiao or Tang Yuan CiCi Li"

Yes you can use something else. If you want a substitute, you could maybe try a mix of gingerale and white grape juice. Or you could even skip the champagne sorbet layer if you want or use a different flavor sorbet
