In my experience I haven't seen very many people choose the light...but then again I have always have made the bad choice of putting my energy into people that do not give a shit about me...or anyone else for that matter. I love you Goose. This song is so good. My first show was sculpture park 2021 after watching every live-stream I could find for about 2 years. I genuinely feel like I've gotten in on the ground-floor of a jam band for the first time. The Goose community is so much kinder and more inclusive than almost any other fandom i've seen. I love this musical direction for the band. More of a focus on songwriting and showcasing Rick’s voice, somewhat in the same vein as Into the Myst and White Lights. They are all great musicians, love to mix genres and can jam with the best, but this is where I think they sound the most original and really shine! Great song!
I’ve seen some comments elsewhere from old school phish fans who don’t like Goose. I think there’s a lot of jealous people who are afraid that Goose is going to become as big as Phish. Back in the day there were a lot of Deadheads who probably thought the same thing about Phish. They have a long way to go before they get as big as Phish. However they are well on their way. Goose is just getting started yet they sound like they’ve been doing it for decades. I am enjoying the ride. It won’t be long before they are playing multiple nights at MSG! ✌️❤️🌈
