Great video mate extremely well done and informative, myself and a friend of mine were thinking of making tour videos at fisheries for a bit of fun as well, as there doesn't seem to be too many about (especially up north) and it's always great to get as much information as possible before a session. You've definitely sold me on taking a vist to blakemere!
Noooo waaay??? You're not serious man??? That's Blakemere?!! Grew up nearby and fished it as a school kid in the 80s, when it belonged to Wyche Anglers in Nantwich. I caught my first pike there, next to the reeds, on a frosty morning in about 1984! Back then, it was okay for the odd small pike, or simply just a change of scenery but for me was always second fiddle to Osmere just further down the road (literally), with its big bream and bigger pike and later Marbury Mere and its tench, once I gotten into PAAS. That's an amazing transformation! My old fishing mate had told me it was a carp fishery now, but that's amazing. Tempted to bring my gear, next time I come over to visit the folks! Cool 😬
Wow, that place used to be a right sh#t hole, fished it many years ago for eels when it was the black mere! I think Barry McDonell spent some time on there? Looks stunning now, so sadly doesn't appeal to us eel anglers, but well done the owner, and you lucky carp catchers.
Great watch stunning venue 👌
