Once again you are one of the best in explaining exactly what you are doing . I think you need an award !!!!!.So easy to follow and amazing .love it ❤❤❤❤
Wow, thank you Edna! I really appreciate that! I'm a very visual learner and have sort of made that way of teaching what little I know to others! Thanks again for taking time to watch me:)
What an awesome lunch bag. I was even looking for one today to take some cold vegetables on a trip. Perfect timing Jean. Ur amazing as usual. I found this just in time. What a blessing
Hi Jean. I made the bag with you. I will share. I did a French seam by pushing the drawstring bag down in the bag and then doing the last top stitching. I love it. Cut up jeans!!!! I will share soon. Thank you. Terie
This is terrific Jean...thanks for demonstrating so clearly...love watching all your films..you have a super warm sassy personality...I especially love your art collage hangings and quilts...thanks for taking time to film and share this... Tricia in the U K.x
Thank you Jean, another brilliant idea from Truelove HQ! I really like it too. Those drawstring tops have always been a mystery, and you have demonstrated it really well.
You did a great job Your really good at figuring out how to make things with easy instruction. I remember I made a bag like this with you but it wasn't water-proof, and i used my cat fabric that I sent you a picture of. I will make this one too.. thanks for all you do for us
Best lunch bag I’ve seen got to make these. Have you ever thought about a basket bag for a mobility scooter or bicycle. Another project to think about lol. Just love your videos!
Oooh I love the Gem fabric. Great bag tutorial Jean. I think You Tube have caught on to how popular your videos are and decided to put more ads in! Hope you are all well.🏴
Oh thank you! Yes, we are keeping safe! About those ads.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......:/ I don't select them nor do I care for all of them...and yes, it IS UA-cam that is putting them into the videos! Oh well....If that is our worst issue, then we're okay! LOL! Thanks Margaret:)
The Drawstring Lunch Bag is so adorable! I actually purchased the gemstone fabric recently but with a black background. Thank you so much for this lovely tutorial. I have plenty of waterproof canvas so I can use for the inside. :D
@@jeantruelovetruelovequiltsfory it really is! I purchased the jewel tones as well and the birthstones. There was a quilt store that was sadly going out of business and I was able to scoop them up for 40% off.
Great tutorial as always Jean. I am really enjoying the small projects series you are doing, I am getting great ideas for Christmas gifts. (Just wondering if you are enjoying using your Sailrite machine? I had one of those machines for bag making and applying quilt binding but just could not get used to it. I spent far too much time trying to work out tension for different fabric weights and different thread weight and was not productive at all with making projects, lol. I had to send it back. It is a great machine for the purpose for which it was designed, making boat sails and upholstery work.)
Thank you! I love my Sailrite! It's great for making bulky bags. It DOES take some getting used to...even though it is a basic machine, it feels very heavy and industrial! My machine, luckily, came with perfect tension, so I just had to thread it and I was off! :) I have gotten used to it, although it did take some doing!
Jean...If you haven't copied any other pattern and this is your own pattern why don't you ask Maxwell to help you make a pattern for people to buy and download...on line even if its for a couple of dollars? Just a thought....love this.....You seem to make a lot of patterns??
Oh, I could never make up a pattern...its been suggested many times ~ and my family isn't interested in helping either!! LOL! I made this particular bag YEARS ago with a pattern that I found somewhere...and I sold a few in my Etsy shop. I had forgotten how I did the drawstring, but found some good tutorials on Pinterest! :)
Using a waterproof shower curtain, so clever Jean.
Thank you! It was a suggestion by someone else now, but I HAVE used them in the past:)

Such very nice and logical instructions! Your fabric combinations are unique and lovely. Is “threadle” a made up word? Lol! I love it.
